Today I'm gonna catch the bus. Because Sarah catches it and always tells me to go on it with her. So right now, I'm waiting at the bus stop by myself.

"Oh hey Lara!" I heard a boy say to my right.
I realised it was Chris.

"Oh hey!" I replied.

"I didn't know you catches the bus" he said.

"Yeah I don't, but Sarah always tells me to go on it."

"Oh ok then"

Then our bus arrives. We hop on and Sarah is nowhere to be seen, she's definitely before my stop. Oh well she must of missed it or something, I can still sit with Chris.

"Hey Chris it doesn't look like Sarah's on today, wanna sit next to me?" I ask as I sit down in an empty 2 seater.

"Sure!" Chris says. Haha he had the biggest grin on his face I've ever seen. I laugh.

I think Chris realises and he stops smiling. I laugh at him even more. Then he gives me a sad pout.

"Aw I was just joking!" I giggle as I hug him. He hugged me back and it felt so nice. And warm. I pull away when I see pink heels in front of us.

"Hey Chris" Brit flirts. " congrats on getting 3 chairs on the voice kids"

"Um hey, and thanks.." Chris says.

"Hey bitch, I heard you got in too, But I doubt you'll get past the battle rounds! she says drawing her attention to me.

"Fk off" I say lazily because I really don't want to start a fight right now, then again, I think I just did..

"No one tells me to fk off!" Brit sneers. Ughh I hate her pitchy voice.

"I just did." I say looking straight at her giving a blank expression.

The bus screeched to a halt and people started getting off, pushing Brit and her 'gang' aside leaving her no chance to reply.

"Brit is so annoying!" Chris sighs. We walk together over to the main building.
"I know" I say.

Then I hear my phone beep.
I check it and see that it's a text from Sarah, and I open it.

L - Lara • S - Sarah

S - Hey Lara, I'm not feeling that good so I'm not going to school today:(

L - Oh ok, get better soon! But seriously? Today was the day I am catching the bus for you!

S - haha whoops sorry :p

L - gtg now, cya and hope you get well soon x

S - thanks, bye Larz xx

As we enter the building, many people walking by us congratulate us for getting in on the voice kids. Though some people said it was lame and stuff but me and Chris ignored it.

We then depart to our lockers. I see Ethan with his friends and say hi because I haven't seen him since yesterday because he had a sleepover with one of his friends and they dropped him off at school today.

I grab my stuff for Maths and head down to the corridor which I always have to walk through to get to maths. It's always empty in there for some reason. I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn around seeing Chris.
