I was so angry that I walked right up to him and spoke furiously.

"What the hell is going on, Lambert? What games are you playing?"

"How dare you cheat, you moron!", Darcy lashed out at him.

"What do you want? Why are you doing this to us?", Evie spoke up in her slow and soft voice, "I know we don't get along well. At all. But this doesn't mean that you'll do such low standard stuff and steal our song! That is unfair and against the rules."

"Tsk. Tsk. Begging came too early, didn't it?", he made a false pity face, soon changing it to a glaring one, "I told you that you will pay for what you did and said. I just kept my word, honey. Don't stress out because you were never going to win it anyway."

"You little –", Trace was about to grab his neck, but fortunately Lenna and Derick held him.

"Be careful about what you do, young lad," Francois scoffed, "you're all already a pack of losers. Better accept it."

I so wanted to give a good, hard punch right at his nose to bring in all his normal human senses back. What he did is too cruel and maddening that we all wanted to throw random, heavy things at him. This was too annoying and unexpected.

"How the hell did you get our song?", I demanded as I gave him a death glare.

"Oh, I don't know," he shrugged his shoulders, "but, yeah. I do gotta admit that the espresso in your café is quite good."

Our eyes widened in astonishment as we all immediately understood what he meant by that and how this happened.

He was that stranger in the café yesterday who bumped with Evie. He must've taken the photographs of the page where our song was written.

"It was you," Evie narrowed her eyes at him.

Francois just patted his own shoulder, confirming that it was indeed him. Evie then looked at Keaton, who was standing silently at a corner.

"Did you knew about this?"

No answer. But his silence explained it all. Keaton had his head down and was at a loss for words because he knew it was so wrong to do.

Evie nodded her head, "great. Just when I began to think that maybe, just maybe you were trying to improve yourself. You showed that you are still the same Keaton and that you're never going to change."

"Shame on you, Keaton," Darcy shook her head and turned away.

Keaton looked at her apologetically, but there was no point in saying anything. He supported the wrong thing, the wrong people, and that cannot be changed now.

"He did nothing wrong. Whatever he did was for his girlfriend. Besides, you better think of an excuse to walk away from the competition before the judges throw you out for stealing my cousin's song."
