Ryanas pov ( Btw pic of Ryana)

As I walked the halls of Richardson high I heard everyone talking about the latest news, which was the Imortalia project, which our school was alowed to partake in. In this project the creators of Imortalia, which was a serum used to slow down the process of aging and make the user very beautiful were going to distribute the serum to children attending selected public high schools for free. However, not all of the students will be able to receive this serum, as they are limited. So, in order for a student in one of the selected high schools to receive the dose of Imortalia they have to compete in 'The Imortalian Games". In this competition each student, who have signed up for the Games from each of the selected schools are tested mentally and physically to see who are the best of the best from each school. At the end of the Games the top 10 best students are chosen from each of the selected schools and are given the prize of the Imortalia serum.

My first period for the day was math. I made my way to class just in time before the bell rang. I took a seat next to my best friend Lilly. She had strawberry blonde hair, which she almost always wore in a ponytail , electric blue eyes, which were covered with thick black glasses, a heart shaped face, fair skin and lastly she had her signature goofy and contagious grin plastered on her face. Before I could greet her good morning she started ranting senselessly and began telling me facts about her latest science books she has been reading.

"Lily. Lily!", I exclaimed.

" Alright. Alright I'm all ears", Lilly said. Finally ceasing her rants.

" I could care less about Quantum physics", I replied.

" oh yeah, I forgot you don't know the first thing about science", she said with a smirk plastered on the side of her mouth.

I was about to bite her back with a snarky remark, but at that moment the teacher began speaking at the front of the class.

" Listen up students. We have a new student joining the class and i want you to treat him nicely and make him feel like he belongs", the math teacher made a gesture with his hand, so as to notify the new student he could come in. He had black messy hair, meadow green eyes, that held a kind of mystery hidden beneath them, tanned skin and he was slightly muscular. But what really caught my eye was the tattoo designs on his left arm. They were skillfully drawn and the design looked like it costed a fortune. He made his way to the only empty chair left in the room, which happened to be in the row in front of me, one desk to the right.

During, the lesson I spied on the new student who i later learnt, name was Ren, who during the lesson spent most of his time playing games on his phone and listening to music . The rest of the lessons leading up to lunch were uneventful . At lunch Lilly and I sat at our usual table near the window in the cafeteria. Ren came out of the cafeteria line with a tray of food and was searching for a place to sit. Lilly saw who I was gazing at and the in a blink of an eye she was up from her seat and was waving her hands around like a mad woman, trying to get Rend attention. Once Ren finally turned in our direction, Lilly had even went to the extreme to stand up on top of the table and wave her hands around like she was trying to get the attention of a helicopter. No one in the cafeteria paid Lilly any attention because they got use to her and her crazy and random ways. Ren broke into a smile and made his way towards our table.

" And you are malady", Ren asked Lilly in a fake posh British accent, while helping her off the table by out stretching his hand so that she can take hold of it.

" Lillian, my good sir. But my aquantances call me Lilly.", she replied copying Rens accent.

" What a splendid name. And you are fair maiden."

" Ryana.", I replied, then I curtsied with a small smile playing on my lips.

Lilly and I spent time to get to know Ren and he seemed really nice and he was actually very funny. But something about him was off. He was different and mysterious and I believed that there was more to his life than what he told us. But that was a mystery that would have to wait to be solved as a result of my new top mystery mission and that was the Imortalia project.
