Pic of Lilly at the top btw ppl
On Tuesday Ren, Lilly and I signed up for the Imortalian Games.Apparently, it turned out that the Games were starting on Monday, but we had to reach the reach the area where the Games were keeping on Sunday in the afternoon. So all three of us had approximately 4-5 days to train, including this afternoon. After school Ren carried us to a nearby gym called Express Fitness. The equipment there was actually more advanced than other gyms I have ever went to. Also, unlike other gyms the air did not smell musty but like Lilacs. We were there till seven in the night and after the workout I felt like I could run a mile and still not get tired.
By nine at night we made our way to the parking lot to drive home. The parking lot was silent as a graveyard and the cars in the parking lot were very scanty . Our beeline to the car was cut short, however as we were suddenly held at gunpoint by three masked robbers. My heart palpitated in my chest and my hands suddenly felt clammy and sweaty. I could feel the tension in the silent air, but the silence was broken by the croaky voice of the robber. " Hand over the bag and all the money in your pockets and no one gets hurt." The sound of a hearty laughter filled the air and to Lillies and my surprise the sound was coming from Ren. " Can you guys get any more cliché?", Ren asked the robber " Hand over the bag and no one gets hurt.", Ren said mimicking the robber. One of the robbers were about to answer Ren back, but unfortunately we did not get the chance to hear his response. As at that moment Ren swiftly went up to the robber who was about to speak and gave him a right hook to his jaw. He then proceeded to take up the gun that the robber had just dropped and used the hilt of the gun to hit the second robber in the back of his head with a satisfying thunk, that sent the robber into unconsciousness. Ren then qiuckly turned around, ran up to the third thief, who was stunned in shock and kneed him in the stomach, which knocked all the air out of his lungs. The third robber rolled in agony, while trying to catch back his breath. The other two thieves were knocked out cold and by looking at the state at which they were in, they did not look like they were waking up any time soon. Both Lilly and I gaped in utter shock at what had just happened. Ren was unfazed by the present events and just simply went to get the car and told us to get in. We entered the car and it took Lilly and I five minutes for our brains to process what had just happened. Once realization had hit us we both said simultaneously "Oh my gosh." "Are you like a ninja?", Lilly asked Ren. Ren just smiled in response and told her no. " Well are you going to tell us where you learnt how to fight like that?", I questioned him. "Nope.", he replied, while popping the p at th end. " Ok. Fine don't tell us", Lilly said. Ren raised a skeptical brow at how fast Lilly had dropped the argument. However, I knew that between Lilly and I this argument was far from over. He dropped both Lilly and I at my house and left. My house was a simple creme and orange highlighted three story home with a garage to the left side of the house and palm trees lining the front lawn. My mom was veterinarian and my dad a lawyer, working in a high classed firm. "You have it?", Lilly asked me. " Yup.", I answered. When Ren was not looking I had taken his phone and had sent his recent messages to my phone. I quickly scrolled down to his more recent messages and read the latest one out loud to Lilly. " The match will begin ten thirty pm this Wednesday, so make sure you be here by ten fifteen." " What match?", Lilly asked me " I don't know?, but we're about to find out tomorrow night when we tail him." Lilly nodded in response, lost in thought about what we might stumble upon. On Wednesday, Ren picked up both Lilly and I up to take us to school. The only sound that filled the car was the music being outputed from the radio. The tension from last night did not seem to leave the car and so only a few words were uttered during the car ride. Upon arrival at school we all went our separate ways. The lesson being taught at school just seemed to fly over my head, as the anticipation for what was to come later in the day was building up inside of me. It was now the end of the day, so Ren took Lilly and I to our destination, which happened to be Lillies house. Once it was nine, fourty-five, Lilly and I began to get ready, dressing in all black, so that we would not get a lot of attention drawn to us. We made our way to Lillies garage, where there was the most expensive cars of different brands. Not many people knew that Lilly was rich and she wanted to keep it that way, that's why Lilly never drove any of the cars to school. We chose a black BMW and made our way to Ren's house. Once at his house, which was just a simple cream coloured, two story house with a bed of flowers lining the front we saw his car parked out in the driveway. We waited in the car on the sidewalk of his neighbors house, until finally five minutes later he exited the house with a black duffel bag in hand. He then proceeded to start the ignition in his car and drove off. We waited until he was at a safe distance away from us before we started to tail him. It took approximately twenty minutes to get to Ren's destination and by that time it was ten, ten. Our destination was at a building, which was painted in a dark grey colour. It had black tinted window, but there was no sign on the building, that told us the name of the place. Out in the parking lot was silent, as if the place was abandoned, but by the number of cars in the parking lot we knew better. Lilly and I watched as Ren walked up to a steel door at the side of the building and knocked on it. A man from inside opened the door. He walked outside to where Ren was and they exchanged a few words, but as a result of our distance away from them we could not decipher what they were saying. Ren then proceeded to lift up his shirt sleeve to show the man his tattoo. The man, who we eventually assumed was the guard simply nodded his head and escorted Ren inside the building. " How are we going to get inside. You saw that man. He looked like the Hulks brother. There's no way we can get past him.", Lilly said to me. " Never say never Lils. Follow me.", I assured her. We both threw on our black hoodie and made our way to the side entrance. I knocked on the door and instantly the guard answered. " How may I help you Luvs?", he asked us in a genuine British accent " We're here to see the match.", I explained to him. " Well, come in tonight's match is between the Exterminator and the Undefeated." We made our way into the building and the sound of ear splitting shouting had hit me like a brick. I paid for Lillies and my tickets and we made our way into the match. What laid before us was not what we were suspecting at all.
We stood in a large gym room. There were long stadium benches lining all around the walls of the gym and stairs that led up to other benches on the upper floor of the gym and stairs that led up to other benches on the upper floor of the gym. Almost all of the benches were occupied, so it took us a while to find a seat. In the center of the room was erected a boxing ring and inside the ring stood both "The Undefeated" and "The Exterminator"."The Exterminator" was a tall, burly looking man with dirty blonde hair, that was styled in a fade hair cut. His age group looked about in his late twenties. He wore a black and neon green gas mask with a black skin tight shirt and green knee length shorts with back combat boots. "The Undefeated" on the other hand wore a thin black mask made made of fabric, which was tied at the back. He wore a black shirt with with black baggy pants, which could have passed for genie pants on the left leg of the pants "undefeated" was printed out along and on and on the right Leg of the pants the word "the" was printed out in the same color.
The fight began at the sound of the bell. The two fighters circled the ring, starting from the far outside and slowly moving to the inner circle. They were both now in close fighting range and it was up to one of them to make the first move. Seconds, minutes passed by until the Exterminator, obviously fed up with the suspense threw the first punch. The Undefeated took hold of the Exterminator's wrist, midway through the Exterminator's flying punch and pulled his arm down, so that his knee could meet painfully with his opponents stomach. The Undefeated proceeded to flip the Exterminator over onto his back and held him down on the ground so he could not get away. Round two was next and the Exterminator was more cautious when he made his kicks and punches. The Undefeated tried to make a kick to his opponents face, but his opponent was quick to react. He grabbed the Undefeated's leg, mid-kick and brought his elbow down to his knee. A loud popping sound resounded throughout the room and following it a painful cry. The Undefeated laid on the ground squirming in pure agony. His right leg was now longer than his left, his eyes red from fiery tears in his eyes and his jaw clenched. He painfully rose, trying not to put much pressure on his right leg, walked right up to the Exterminator, smiled at him and sent his right fist sailing with so much power at the side of his opponents face he was knocked out cold. The seats rumbled, the air shook and beer bottles were thrown to the ground. The crowd was sent into a loud uproar of cheering and shouting. Lilly and I looked at each other and only one was word was uttered "Ren."
