Flames; Blue- water, White- air, Red-fire, Green- Earth and purple- Spirit. How I knew the meaning of these mysterious flames was not the question I was focused on. The question that racked my brain was why my mother stood in the centre of the spiral of entwining blue, white, red and green flame, with a spiraling wall of purple flames encircling around me. There were other individuals also standing in each of the rainbow of flames and they all resembled my friend for some reason. None of them were facing me, not even my mother, like I was not even there. Each one of them stared in the opposite direction, behind me. That's when I saw her, that's when I saw it; the silver-eyed woman and her army of mindless, controlled soldiers. There we're hundreds of them, seconds, minutes passed by then there were thousands of them, each one of them multiplied by the passing seconds. The four elementals and my mother fought, but there was just too many. Eventually, they fell, they all fell. But not before my mother uttered her last words. " You end it."
I woke up with a blood curdling scream at the time of eleven, thirty on a Friday night. My body felt as if it had been soaked in gasoline, then lit on fire. My head felt as if had been banged in a car door multiple times. My heart palpitated in my chest so fast that it seemed as it had been restarted with a jumpstart wire and I was hungrily breathing in air as if I had been lacking it for decades. Taking account of my surroundings I realized that I was now in a small bunk room so bare that it had only three, three tier bunk beds and one sink with a mirror. I shakily made my way to the mirror, my legs feeling like jelly, my fingers refusing my orders to be steady and my teeth chattering in my jaws, as if they were shaken up from my previous glass shattering scream. What I saw in those mirrors didn't surprise me actually. My eyes were a piercing, illuminated violet and my hair, dark purple with light purple tips that looked almost pink. By then everyone was awoken and supposedly suffering from migraines, by the way in which they were holding their heads in pure agony.
" Ry......You're eyes.", Lilly stuttered.
" You always looked good in white Lils.", I told her, taking her chin in my fingers, then turning her head to face the mirror in which I was previously standing in front of.
Lillies hair was now dove white and her eyes a bluish-white.
" Bloody hell.", Ren said, taking a look at his face in the mirror.
From the roots, his hair was a brown colour, but they faded into a ginger colour about halfway from the roots and his eyes were an orange colour, which was highlited with red.
" You've got to be kidding me. My hair looks like the fur of the Cookie Monster from Elmer's Street.", Aron exaggerated.
Arons' hair still had it's blonde roots, but the tips faded into an ocean blue and his eyes were now a crystal blue that had white specs.
" You know, I like my hair. Actually I was planning to dye my hair in this colour. I should probably go tell Miss Director Cray Cray a thanks.", Jake said, admiring his reflection in the mirror.
His hair was now a dark green that almost looked black at the roots, but it faded into a lighter green at the tips and his eyes were now a meadow green with a moss green to contrast it.
" If all of you are done modeling in the mirror; how about we continue our mission. Because if the Director thinks that trapping us in an enclosed bunk room is gonna hinder us from our mission she's got another thing coming. We've gotten too far to back down now. We all came in here like curious, naive little kittens, but we will leave as clever, brave lions. We've changed both mentally and physically. Now what do you say?", I said, waiting for their responses.
" You already know my answer Ry.", Lilly said, while walking up to me to stand at my side and stare at the others.
" I did not waste five days of high school, just to eventually not complete this mission. Do you know how much high school parties can happen in five day's, especially on a Friday.", Ren obnoxiously replied to Lilly and I, which caused us both to simultaneously our eyes and grow a small smile on our face when he made his way towards us.
