It's almost 11 PM nung umalis kami sa pinagkainan namin. We wanna go for a drink but we're afraid na hindi kami makakauwi.
Nasa sasakyan kaming dalawa, hindi alam kung saan pupunta.
"How 'bout sa Beereaucracy?" Tanong ni Isaac.
He wants to go to a bar alright.
"Hanggang 1 AM lang kasi yan,"
"Eh, saan tayo?" I laughed at him.
"Ba't ba gusto mong uminom?"
"Wala lang, baka gusto mo rin," sabi niya.
"Let's just stay here, and have a chitchat for a while. Or we can go home already, aren't you tired?" I asked.
"Why would I? I'm with you,"
I blushed. Hindi na ako nakapagsalita. Tumawa naman siya.
"Uy, kinikilig ulit." Sabi niya.
Hinampas ko siya sa braso, pero mas lalo lang siyang natawa.
"Kung dito lang tayo, what are we gonna talk about then, hmm?" Sabi niya at tinigil ang sasakyan.
"I don't really know, about life?"
"Hmm, how about doon sa fixed marriage thingy na plano ng mga parents natin?" Sabi niya.
Natigilan ako. "You wanna talk about that?"
"Yeah,"
"Why?"
"I just feel like.. okay naman siguro? Like we get along naman," Sabi niya.
I get his point. Yes, we get along. But isn't this just too fast? I'm not yet ready for marriage. Hindi pa nga ako nakakagraduate! I want my life to be stable first before ako magpapakasal.
"Isn't this just too fast? And, students pa tayo." Sabi ko.
He nodded. "I know, I'm sorry for bringing that up, alam ko namang ayaw mo,"
"It's not that I don't like you, okay? I just don't like the idea of getting married at a very young age. I'm not even a half in my dreams yet," I said.
"So, you like me?" He said, he looked at me with amusement in his eyes.
"Of course, your my friend, right?" I said.
He laughed. "Ah, yes. A friend."
I laughed as well. I checked at the time and it's almost 1 AM. Ang bilis naman ng oras. Buti nalang weekend ngayon.
"Are you sleepy? Or tired? I'll drive you home," He asked.
"I'm kinda tired, pero kaya pa naman. Ikaw ba?"
"You're kinda tired. So I'll drive you home so you can rest."
It was a rainy sunday morning. I woke up by hearing the rain drops that is dropping at my room's windows. I glanced at my clock and checked the time, it's 10:30 AM.
I immediately jumped out of bed and took a quick shower. Lutang pa ako. Malapit ko nang gawing toothpaste yung shampoo. Hayop.
I went out of my bathroom while I'm brushing my hair. I took my phone then checked if there is any notifications. May nakita akong message, and it was from Isaac. And it was sent from 7:30 AM! Ang aga!

I smiled.

Good morning. Kagigising ko lang.
Binitawan ko muna saglit ang phone ko. Humarap ako sa salamin. I took my skin care products then slowly put some on my skin.
