"Hi, babe," Isaac greeted.

Pumayag ako na makipag-kita sa kanya after my class. Hindi na sana kasi I'm quite busy pero mapilit talaga 'tong mokong na 'to eh.

"Hi, how are you?" I asked him as I seated down. Nandito kami ngayon sa keepsakes sa MTS since malapit lang naman to sa school namin.

"Ayos lang. Busy sa work and studies. Ikaw? I heard about what happened yesterday night," he said and held my hand na naka-patong sa table.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you,"

I smiled. "It's okay. I'm fine,"

He shooked his head. "No, I was trying to--" he paused for a second. "Nevermind."

"Hmm?"

He smiled. "Nothing. I'm happy you're safe,"

We ordered food and talked about some things.

I thought I heard whispers again kaya napalingon ako. Napatingin naman si Isaac saakin.

"What's wrong?" he asked and looked around as well.

"Did you heard, uhm.. whispers?"

"Huh? Wala naman, bakit?"

"I thought..."

He then held my hand. "Yvanna, did you heard whispers that night?"

I looked at him and slightly nodded.

Lumipat siya sa upuang katabi ko, umupo at niyakap ako.

"I'm sorry," he whispered.

"W-why are you sorry--"

"I know you're being filled with fear, please, know that I'm here for you."

Tears are slowly forming in my eyes. I hugged him back at siniksik ang aking mukha sa kanyang dibdib.

He's my knight in shining armor.

After this, will I be able to see him again?

I started to cry silently. Maybe he knows because I was silent, he caressed my back and my hair then kissed the top of my head.

"I love you, I'm just here, you don't have to worry,"

His sudden confession made me cry more.

I like him. No, I love him too. I guess I was too indenial.

God knows how he can make me smile. He makes my heart flatter.

Kinalas ko ang pagkakayakap ko sakanya at tiningnan siya. He looked at me back then smiled. He gently wiped my tears away.

"I'm here. I won't leave you." He said as he kissed my forehead.

"Thank you," 'yon lang ang nasabi ko.

"Anytime, babe," he said and smiled.

I wiped my tears. Tinulungan niya ako at inayos ang buhok ko.

"Let's go? Pinagtitinginan na tayo, baka akala nila iiwan kita," he said then chuckled.

Napatingin din naman ako sa paligid at, oo nga, punyeta.

Maiissue pa naman ang mga tao ngayon, kahit hindi alam ang totoong storya ay ij-judge ka pa rin.

I looked at him and smiled.

"Tara," I stood up. Napatingin ako sa oras. 9 PM 'yung misyon ni daddy. Good thing it's still 6 PM. Makakapag pahinga pa ako.

Hinatid niya ako sa amin.

Pinatawa niya ako sa gitna ng byahe namin pauwi. Kahit ang corny, tumatawa ako. Sobrang babaw talaga ng kaligayahan ko.
