After leaving the assembly to make their decision, I heard no good news from them and it's been days.

"Pardon me Ms. Min, but the Chairman and Chairwoman Min requested you." Finally.

"I just hope I'm being called to witness a shareholder signing a contract."

"Misun, this is the eldest Chairman of the Jeon Group, Mr. Jeon." After formally exchanging greetings, his assistant handed us informative papers.

That name oddly rings a bell. I just can't put my finger on it.

"We look forward to working with your company and investing shares. Hearing that you're facing your current bankruptcy issue, we can easily assist. However, I'm not pleased with your terms of the contract. If possible, I'd like to request a personal addition to the contract." Chairman Jeon began.

"Seeing that we are about to become bankrupt, I don't see why I would decline your addition." Mr. Dad answered with his hands open with interest.

"Then," He smirked. "Let's allow our companies to collide. Allow your daughter to marry my son."

A moment of silence stifled the room while we all traded eye-bulging stares.

I only felt my dry throat involuntarily gulping thickly. I can't tell if I needed to moisten my throat or I'm just shocked by whatever this old man just said.

"...Sounds ideal to us." My mom shrugged right after then signed her name on the contract. Following right after was my dad doing the same.
