I turned away not wanting anyone to know that I knew who she was.

"Nat," Aaron said, placing a hand on my shoulder which again got me to jump.

"Sorry," he said.

"Don't be. Aaron...I'm so sorry about Jesus. I can't...I can't even begin to know what it is you're going through."

"I appreciate that. I uh...I really do."

He looked as if he didn't know what to do. So I went up and embraced him. Before I even realized it, I was doing this more for me than him. I didn't know how much I needed a hug until after it had happened. My eyes then found Daryl's. It was as if he was studying me. Shit. Had he noticed the way I looked at Lydia? I cleared my throat and parted from Aaron.

"What happens now?" I asked, wiping my face.

"We bury him. And then...I leave."

Daryl took Jesus off the horse with the help of Magna and took him away. Michonne had pulled Lydia off the horse and took her off to the side. I hope they didn't hurt her. She had enough of that no thanks to Alpha.

"Leave? Where to?" I asked, looking back at Aaron.

"Michonne, Rosita, Eugene and others...we're from a different community," he said.

"Yumiko and the others told me about that."

"Maybe you can come with us. We couldn't have such a large group in Alexandria but maybe you can be an exception," he said, sounding hopeful.

"I don't know, Aaron. Michonne doesn't seem too keen on having any new people over there."

Suddenly, out of nowhere, someone got a hold of my arm and yanked me away.

"Daryl. What are...?" Aaron called.

We turned the same corner Jesus and Lydia had been taken to. He pushed me against the side of the house and glared at me.

"Who the hell are you?" he asked.

The itch in my back had started up again.

"I already told the others."

"So tell me. Who are you?" he asked again.

Michonne and Aaron had come over.

"And if I don't?"

He shoved me against the wall again and this time I couldn't take the pain anymore. I fell to the ground and took in deep breaths. My back was on fire.

"Nat," Aaron said, kneeling down next to me.

He placed his hand on my back and I flinched in pain. He made me turn and I waited for him to say he saw it.

"She's bleeding. Daryl, you didn't have to..." he started to say.

"This wasn't him," I said.

"Who was it then? You know the girl we brought in, don't ya? I saw how you looked at her," Daryl said.

I knew he had. I should have seen this coming. I looked up at him and nodded. He sighed and surprised me by picking me up.

"We'll take her to Enid and Siddiq. Then get some answers from her before we talk to the girl. Put your arms around me. You're heavier otherwise," he said.

"Well excuse me for trying to forget about the pain," I retorted as I did what he'd asked.

We got to the medical trailer and he set me down on one of the beds.
