AMANDA

The year was 1992, Sunset Curve had officially been a band for about 2 years now. Though, they were still getting use to writing songs together, anyone could see that the group worked well together. A band of misfits that called each other family. The chemistry they all had when performing together was clear to see. But, there was a stronger chemistry happening off stage between a certain keyboardist and bassist. Knocking feverishly on the window that she knew so well, Amanda, awaited for the bassist to open the window. It was something they did frequently, whether it was to get away from home life or just to hang out.

"Reggie! Reg! Reginald!" the blonde whispered, knocking on the window. The cool, evening wind blew through her hair, her cheeks turning pink due to sensitivity.

"If you don't let me in, I'm gonna break your window," Amanda threatened, grasping on tightly to the window ledge upon feeling the ladder underneath her shake. Finally, the window cracked open and she quickly climbed inside of the bassist room. Letting out a small breathe of relief, Amanda quickly ran a have through her hair before looking over at the boy she adored.

"What are you doing here? Did we have another band meeting tonight and I forgot?" Reggie asked, closing his window, as the blonde took a seat on his bed.

"Nah, just felt like dropping by, Alex and Luke had a thing planned tonight. Bobby's probably out with some poor girl, and you're the only person I could think of," Amanda replied.

"Aw, I'm touched," he awed, placing a hand over his heart.

"Okay, I was think that we could sneak into a movie and," she began only to be interrupted by the sounds of shouting coming from downstairs, looking over at Reggie, he winced lightly, as Amanda frowned. She knew that Reggie's parents argued a lot, she's heard a few of those arguments herself. Though, by the look on the tall brunet's face and what the blonde has experienced, she could tell this situation was getting worse.

"Sounds like it's getting worse," she mentioned.

"Nah, they're just working out a few things, it's like this most nights anyway," Reggie shrugged off, shutting his eyes upon hearing the sound of glass breaking.

"You know what, I'm sleeping over," Amanda announced, shrugging off the jean jacket that she most likely took from Alex's closet.

"My parents would have a cow if they caught you here this late," he says. Giving him a look, she walked over and locked door, looking back at him.

"Problem solved," she announced, walking over to Reggie's bed, plopping down on it.

"Well, that was easy," Reggie responds.

"Come lay next to me," Amanda patted a spot next to her on the bed. Chuckling lightly, he walked over to his bed and laid down next to the female, making sure to brush aside her hair, which consisted of light pink streaks.
