AMANDA

"What up, losers?" Amanda announced, entering the studio. Coming to a stop, she noticed the Alex and Luke standing beside each other. The blonde could tell something was off since there was a sudden shift in the room's atmosphere.

"We found your things," Alex spoke, motioning towards the olive green duffel bag that sat beside the grand piano. Letting out a small squeal, she rushed over to the bag, unzipping it. Noticing that the two were still look over at her, she looked down to see that she was wearing one of Alex's shirt and an old flannel she took from Luke a while back.

"Don't be so glum, I was planning on returning all your guy's shirts, eventually," Amanda joked. Unable to stand the silence, the lead guitarist stepped towards her, a slightly tattered letter in his hands.

"Amanda, what is this?" Luke asked. Confused for a second, her green eyes widened in realization at what he was holding. The whole reason she was looking for her bag in the first place was to avoid the conversation they were having now.

"Where did you find that?" Amanda whispered, her eyes darting from the letter back to his face.

"We found it in your bag. Now, what is this?" Luke pushed.

"You guys went through my things? Ever heard of privacy," Amanda rebuked, reaching to grab the letter from his hand. In a flash, he was now standing a couple feet behind her.

"Family doesn't hide thing from each other. Tell us what it is!" Luke exclaimed.

"It's the letter I wrote to you guys about running away," Amanda admitted.

"You were gonna leave us?" Reggie questioned. Turning around, she realized that bassist was standing right behind her. Amanda's thought about how the boys would react to the news, it was all she could think about since writing that lawyer. Once she saw Reggie's heartbroken look, she nearly fell apart.

"Let me explain," Amanda lowly said, afraid that if she said the wrong thing he'd break.

"What is there to explain? You were planning on leaving us and you thought the best way to tell us was through a letter?" Luke scoffed.

"Luke—You lied to us. You lied to your own family," he interrupted, shooting her a quick glare.

"I gotta go clear my head for a bit," Luke concludes, disappearing right after. She could feel her heart rate speeding up by the second.

"Alex," Amanda spoke, watching as he walked past her. She appeared in front of him, blocking his path.

"Alex, please talk to me!" she pleads, her voice cracking slightly.

"It's like Luke said, what is there to explain?" Alex says, brushing past her, walking out the door. From a young age, the twins had always been close. Sure, there were times that they would argue, but it would resolve itself in an hour or two. This was the first time that Alex was genuinely mad at her.

"Reggie," Amanda called out, turning towards the bassist. She'd already lost one of her best friends and her brother, to lose Reggie as well would push her over the edge. Sure, they had their history and were on weird terms, but she needed someone. She needed someone to be there for her, to assure her that she was making a good call at the time, to hold her and tell her everything would be fine. Amanda needed Reggie. Walking up to him, she took his hand in her, before looking up at him. Amanda gave his have a light squeeze after noticing that he wouldn't make eye contact with her.

"I-I think we all need a break from each other," Reggie sighed, detaching her grasp. Amanda's world came spiraling down quick. Here she was, in a whole new place, living a whole new life, now alone. The people that had been her only family, wanting nothing to do with her. Glancing one last time at the boy, who moved adore her, Amanda took a step back before vanishing.
