AMANDA

April, 1993. By now, it has been 3 years since Sunset Curve became a band and the group were now getting their name out there. Since their lucky "big" break, the group was playing actually gigs and becoming more and more recognized by talent scouts. Over at the Peters' household, a blonde keyboardist lied awake in bed. Turning to her right, she smiled at the sight of the sleeping bassist next to her. Placing a small kiss on the tip of his nose, she proceeded to get out of bed, only be pulled back down, the familiar feeling of pair of arms wrapped around her abdomen.

"Running away already?" The Peters' boy quipped, a sly smirk evident on his face.

"You know I gotta get going before guys show up for band practice," Amanda replied.

"We have plenty before they show up. Plus, when have we ever actually started practice on time?" he assured.

"Fine, but it's your fault if I get caught up here," she concludes.

"We'll be fine, don't stress it, Mandy," Reggie mutters, placing a chaste kiss on her shoulder. The blonde's pale green eyes met with Reggie's closed ones. Slowly, she traced his jawline with her index finger, admiring how peaceful he looked laying there. She stopped once she felt him grabbed her wrist, his green eyes flicking open.

"That tickles," he giggled, interlacing their hands together. It was times like these that the female Mercer enjoyed with the Peters' boy. Even though she was there the night before to help him sleep, due to his parents endless fighting, she still cherished the sweet little moments that they shared.

"Sorry, can't help it. Your just too pretty to look at," Amanda whispered, running her free hand through his hair.

"I could say the same about you," Reggie smiled.

"I really don't want to get up and leave," the Mercer whined.

"Because you would miss me?" he asked.

"Nah, because I'm way too comfortable here," she responds, earning a playful glare from the musician.

"We could just skip practice and spend the rest of the day here," Reggie suggests, wiggling his eyebrows, causing the keyboardist to giggle at his antics.

"As great as that sounds, Alex would grow suspicious. You know that Alex loves to ask questions. Plus, Luke would never let us hear the end of it," Amanda explained.

"I promise to make it up to you," she promised, sitting up, unlacing their hands.

"Fine," he dramatically sighed, earning a playful eye roll from her.
