Chapter 54

With the consent of Naaz's parents, Doctor carries out the surgery. Surgery was successful. Naaz was out of danger. Sid informs everyone present there not to inform anybody about her uterus removal. It was supposed to take a few more hours to get Naaz consciousness. Sid asks Zain to take San's parents and Aditi to home. He asks his mom to stay for some time. He was too exhausted with happenings.

Shwetaji: Whatever happened, we cannot change it. But we can face it together.

Sid: Ma, I am feeling very guilty. I am the reason behind her sufferings.

Shwetaji: No, it is not like that. We cannot control destiny. Beta, I don't know it is the right time or not but we need to talk.

Sid: About what?

Shwetaji: It is absolutely fine that you love Naaz. I also love her a lot. But she cannot be a mother. It is a huge thing. I mean now you are in love but after few years couple needs someone else to keep them bound to each other.

Sid was losing his temper. He never expected his mother to say things like this. Come on we live in the 21st century. Still, people think they should have a child because that child will keep them together.

Sid: Do you have an idea what are you talking ma?

Shwetaji: I am thinking practically. I have seen the world. Whatever you are saying or doing is temporary. After some years.....

Sid cuts her in between

Sid: First of all this accident is happened because of me. I am not doing any EHSAAN on her by accepting her. I love her and always do. Secondly what if it would have happened after marriage? You still would say the same words. And worst, if something like this would have happened to me then? I am disappointed Mom. I love you and I respect you. But I would lose my temper if you say such things to her. You are not going to say anything about it to her.

Shwetaji: I am not a villain Sid. I do care for Naaz too. Whatever I am stating is the fact. And you told everybody not to tell her. Why? She has the right to know it.

Sid: I know what is right or wrong. I will tell her but this is not the right time. Mom and now please you go home.

Shwetaji leaves the hospital. Sid gets more stressed. It was not because her mother said this. What if relatives get to know about it? What if they torture her for this? I can't be present all the time with her. It is my responsibility to make her strong and give back them with confidence. After 2-3 hours Sana gets conscious and find Sid seated near her. Sid sees her opening her eyes slowly. He gets happy to see her conscious.

Sid: How are you feeling Jaan? Let me call the doctor.

He calls the nurse and tells her to call the doctor. The nurse checks her once and goes to call the doctor.

Naaz: Sid, our marriage?

Her eyes were welled up. She was about to cry.

Sid: Hey baby! Just don't think about anything right now. I am with you. We all are with you. And about marriage, it is all formality. Our souls are already married. Just don't stress yourself. Tell me where it is paining?

Naaz looks at him. His eyes were swollen as if he had cried a lot. His face was all down. He was looking very tired. More than tired he was looking tensed. She knew how much worried he would be. Her soul was breaking in pieces looking Sid's condition. She was in immense pain but she can't show her pain to him. It would cause him more pain.

Naaz moves her hand to point out her heart.

Naaz: Dil me dard ho raha hai.

Sid gets panic.

Sid: What?

Naaz: Baby! My heart is paining because we are going to miss our honeymoon.

Sid smacks his head.

Sid: Do you have an idea, how much I was scared. You look beautiful when you smile.

Naaz: Jyaada tariff mat kar varna aise halat me bhi uthake gandi waali kiss karungi tujhe.

Sid: to roka kis ne hai? If you can't get up then I can lean down. We can do the task if you still wish.

Naaz: Oho! Ganda bacha! Bilkul sharam nahi hai tujhe. What if nurse sees us?

Sid: She will be happy to see such a romantic couple.

They were talking when the doctor comes and examines her thoroughly. They ask her where exactly she was feeling pain. She tells the doctor honestly. She was feeling pain in her stomach and head. The doctor prescribes some more medicines and instructs nurse accordingly. After they left, Sid asks her," Why didn't you tell when I asked you if there was a pain in your body?"

Naaz: Oh my to-be-husband! The doctor didn't panic when I told him. But if I would have told you could have taken all hospital on your head.

Sid: I love you jaan! I was scared. I was scared to lose you. Thank god! You are fine.

Naaz: I love you more.

After some time Naaz's father and Zain come to the hospital and tell Sid to go home for some rest. Naaz also strictly asks him to go home. Reluctantly he agrees and goes home.

News of Naaz's accident has been spread in all relatives. All of them wanted to visit her. But Sid tells everybody to wait for some days. He didn't want any relative to disturb her in any sense. He was still scared of what if she comes to know she is barren. It's been almost week after that accident. Relatives were meeting her. It was all going smooth. She was recovering fast.

One day Sid's aunt goes to visit her in hospital. She greets Naaz and asks about her health. Naaz also talks nicely.

Sid's Aunt: Shehnaaz, you are lucky that you have got our Sid.

Naaz doesn't say anything. She was finding her talk a little weird. She let her continue with her talk.

Sid's Aunt: I mean, aur koi ladka hota to shaadi ke liye mana kar diya hota ye jaan kar ke tum kabhi maa nahi ban sakati.

Naaz was stunned to learn this unknown information.
