From the show: The Monkees

You felt nervous as you sat beside your best friends, The Monkees. They had invited you as they went to a mansion to find out what they inherited from the owner's recent passing. They were told right away they had gotten a piano, but soon enough things took a turn for the worst. Even though Davy was happy to be close to the girl that was inheriting the house, he was just as scared as his fellow Monkees when you all were forced to stay the night. It was a creepy place, and it didn't help that lightening was constantly flashing outside the grand windows. The rain had prevented anyone from being able to leave. You went ahead and got dressed into matching, red pajamas, which you all were provided with, the six of you squeezing into the wide bed.

"Hey, you okay, (Y/N)," Peter softly checked. You had always been closest to him out of the group, developing a crush on him over the years.

"Yeah, just a little cold," you admitted, yet that was soon forgotten when there was a sound of footsteps. One of your friends instantly turned the lamp back on, Mike trying to reassure everyone. While he was busy attempting to send a message for help, you and Peter gravitated to an empty corner in the room.

"I'm sure everything will be fine, but just in case I wanted you to have this." He held out a small flower with white, thin petals, melting your heart.

"I love it, Peter. Where did you get it?" You twirled it between your fingers as you thought how you would press it into a photo album back home.

"Actually I found it on the way in." You were about to respond when your face paled from an inhuman groan. You couldn't help but cling onto Peter, him looking around frantically for what could be causing the ruckus.

"Don't worry, I won't let anything hurt you, (Y/N)," he calmly vowed. You always admired his mellow demeanor, just holding onto him tighter. Eventually it was discovered in the morning that the butler, along with the other caretakers of the mansion, had devised all of the scary occurrences. They had wanted the fortune to themselves.

As you walked in the broad daylight, you couldn't help but smile at Peter after he recited you a simple yet super sweet poem.

"That's the sweetest poem I've ever heard," you confessed.

"Thanks, I wrote it for you." You found his hand as you grasped it with your own, a grin spreading across your lips.

"What do you say we get out of here?"

"I thought we'd never get to leave," he admitted. Just then a spooky voice saying they were the ghost of Christmas past echoed from the building, causing all of you to run at the speed of light towards the Monkee mobile. Who knew the scariest night of your life would turn into the sweetest morning.

A/N: Sorry if this was short. Out of all the Monkees I feel like I know Peter the least. I tried watching some videos of Peter, but I'm not sure how much they helped. This was requested by Insert_Title. And it's also based off of the "The Monkees" episode, "Monkee See, Monkee Die." I hope you enjoyed it. Please remember to comment, vote, and follow if you did. Thank you so much! <3
