Chapter 20

Lilly's P.O.V.
Bring bring bring!!
"See you after school" Stevan says noticing me getting up.
"Uhh sure?" I say still really confused.
I walk into biology and sit next to will and Chrisy as always.
"Guys Stevan is being nice to me." I tell them not wanting to spill much about why because they don't know about my liking for razors.
"What!" They shout in unison. Everyone stares at them.
"Not so loud" I whisper.
"What happened?" Chrisy anxiously asks tapping her nails in the table.
"Well this morning he was the usual pushing me into lockers cat calls names shot like that but at lunch. He cuddled me?" I says realising the extent of the weirdness.
"But he has bullied you for more than five months." Will questions.
I want to tell them everything and the teacher walks in.

I walk up to my locker after my last class and find a note on it.
"See" I exclaim to will and Chrisy
"Meet me by the tree again after school" he signed it and everything. I grab my homework books and go to the tree to find Stevan smoking.
"Hey there" he says cheery "I wasn't sure if you'd come."
"Well I did" I giggle. He gets up a walks over to me. He puts his arm over my shoulder and we start to walk out of the school. As we pass the window I see will and Chrisy's staring mouths wide and eyes blank.
When we get outside the school gate he takes his arm off my shoulder and asks
"Where do you want to go?" Cigarette bobbing up and down in between his lips as he spoke.
"Uhh I got a lot of homework... We can go to mine? If you want.." I say hesitating.
"You don't have to be scarred of me.. I won't hurt you anymore... " he says, hand and my shoulder.
"Why are you doing this? Why are you being nice to me" I say only now noticing how close he is to me. Not as close as usual but it feels closer.
"I.. I.. I don't know" he laughs he hands lifting off my shoulder to scratch the back of his neck where his creamy brown hair meets his skin.
"I feel bad I guess.." he murmurs.
"Let's go.." I murmur back to him and start to walk.
I open the door and everyone is in the living room. When Steve walks in behind me they all look surprised. I take no notice of them and run up to my bedroom my bag bobbing on my back as I run.
