Evie couldn't believe that she had found her true love, and he had been driven away from her. Not literally of course. Evie knew she would find a way to be with him. She just had to show her father how much she was in love with Henry.

Evie was in her bedroom with some of her maids and her lady in waiting, Sophie, to get measurements for her wedding dress.

"I just don't understand," Evie said. "I love Henry, I don't like Chad, at all! And I definitely don't want to marry him. Why can't my father see that?"

"Your father can't see a lot of things, Evie." Sophie told her. "Which is why you have to prove to him that you're meant to be with Henry, not Chad. But in the chance that your father might not see, at least you're marrying a good-looking guy."

"I don't see Chad like that. He is so self centered." Evie said. "My father has always wanted me to marry him. I mean, him and King Charming have always been best buds so they always thought their children should be married. I've basically been betrothed to him all my life. He said that if I were to fall in love with another Prince I could marry him. But since I didn't fall in love with a prince, I am to be married to Chad. It's not even fair anymore. He loves his title and what happens to his kingdom more than he loves me."

Sophie sighed. "Don't worry, Evie. You will be with your true love. I believe it." Sophie told her as she grabbed her hands and looked into her eyes. "And he will carry you home off into the sunset. And you two, will have the most beautiful children."

Evie laughed after that. "I really hope that happens, Soph." She said stepping down after her measurements had been taken.

"It will, Evie." Sophie assured her before she left the room.

Evie looked out of her window and out to her kingdom. If Sophie believed that she would be with Henry, then she should be able to believe it too.

Henry woke up that morning in the loft in the barn he had been staying in with his friend and his friend's sister. He got up to go and feed his horse, he got some hay and a bucket of water and put inside the stall.

"Eat up, boy. We'll go for a little ride in a bit." He told his horse as he pet his side.

"How did last night go?" His friend, Mal asked as she brought in buckets to fill with water for all of the other horses.

"Not as well as I'd hoped." He replied.

"I'm sorry to hear that. So you didn't get the girl?" Mal asked as she patted his back.

"No, she's to be married to a prince." He informed her. "Forbidden to see or speak to me. But we're gonna break the rules. She 's gonna sneak out tonight, and I'm gonna surprise her with a moonlight ride on horseback."

"Sounds like fun." Mal said. "I know you've been through a lot lately. You deserve to find someone who makes you happy."

"Thanks, Mal. You always know what to say." Henry said hugging her.

"Well, I better get back to my chores. Ugh! Chores! I hate chores!" She yelled throwing her head back as she picked up the buckets.

Henry laughed at her. "Here, let me help you." He said picking up a couple buckets.

She thanked him, and they filled all the buckets with water and gave them to the horses, then giving out the hay.

"Hey Mal, wanna go on a ride with me?" He asked once they had finished.

"Sure! Want me to go ask Mike if he wants to come with us?" She asked referring to her brother.

"No, why don't I just take you. I always hang out with Mike. Let's just hang out, the two of us."
