Henry was planning on letting Evie come to the farm to meet Mal and Mike. So he was once again going to Evie's castle and sneak her, her horse and they would ride together to the farm.

Evie was looking at her reflection in her mirror and looked down at the engagement ring on her finger. She couldn't wear that in front of Henry, especially not in front of his friends, for Henry still had yet to find out her engagement was official. So she slid it off her finger and put it in one of the drawers in her vanity. That's when she heard pebbles being thrown at her window. She went over to her window and once again climbed out and down to Henry and her horse.

"Hey Evie! I've missed you." He said to her.

"So have I." She replied with a smile as she hopped onto her horse.

And they rode off towards the farm. "So, you're friends..you think they'll hate me?" Evie asked.

"No, of course not Evie. They will absolutely love you. I'm sure you'll become good friends with Mal." He assured her.

Evie nodded hoping he was right. As the princess of Dawnessburg, she didn't have many real friends, they mostly just liked her because of the fact she was a princess. Except for Sophie. She was the only real friend she had. But hopefully that would change. Her thoughts were interrupted when they arrived at the farm. Henry put her horse in one of the stalls in the small barn, before he took her inside the house.

"Mal! Mike! We're here!" He yelled into the house. And soon enough, footsteps could be heard coming in from the kitchen, and down the stairs. "Guys, this is Evie. The princess that I've been telling you about."

"Hello Evie, I'm Mike." Mike introduced himself as he shook her hand.

"I'm Mal." Mal also shook her hand.

"It's nice to meet both of you. Henry's told me a lot about you guys." Evie said.

"All good things, I hope." Mal said.

"Well, there's only good things about you." Henry told her.

"Isn't this guy just the sweetest?" Mal asked Evie.

Evie laughed. "He is." She agreed looking into Henry's green eyes.

"Well, I still have to finish lunch. Henry, would you help me?" Mike asked.

Henry nodded as he and Mike went back into the kitchen, leaving Evie and Mal all by themselves. "Ok then, we can just take a seat and get to know each other, I guess." Mal said as they walked into the living room and sat on opposite sides of the room as an awkward silence was between them. "So...you really like Henry?" Mal asked trying to start a conversation.

"I do. I really do." She answered.

"As I would hope." Mal said. "You know, Henry really likes you too. There's hardly ever a moment where he's not talking about you. In fact, you look almost exactly like how I was picturing you to be after he described you so well."

Evie lightly laughed. "I am pretty easy to describe, I guess." She joked. "He's really the man of my dreams. The kind of man I've dreamed of falling in love with. And I have."

"He said you're betrothed, and going to be engaged, you're not actually gonna marry someone else, are you? " Mal asked.

"I don't want to. But it looks like I have to. I've been trying to fight it, but it's not easy. I am doing everything in my power to find a way to be with Henry." Evie told her.

"Well, if you two really have true love. I'm sure you'll be together in the end." Mal encouraged her. "And if you and Henry ever need help or something, I'm here for the both of you. Cause I'm your friend now, Evie. And I never let down any of my friends."

Evie smiled at her. "Thanks Mal! That means a lot. Really."

Mal gave her a smile back. And that's when Henry and Mike called that lunch was ready, and the two of them stood up and went into the dining room.

"So did you two girls find something to talk about?" Mike asked the two girls as they all sat down at the table.

"Actually we did." Mal said smiling at Evie who was smiling as well.

"Well that's certainly good to hear." Henry said. "See, I told you, you two would be good friends."

And as they all ate lunch, they shared conversations with each other and having a good time together.
