Time had flown by, and the day of Evie's wedding had come. She was in her room putting on her dress with Sophie. She looked out her window in sadness. She thought of Henry who was still in the dungeons, she loved him with all of her heart. In no way did she love Chad.

"This just isn't fair, Sophie. Why can't my father see that I don't love Chad?" Evie asked her friend almost in tears.

Sophie sighed as she finished doing the princess' hair. "I don't know Evie. But your father is clearly blind to see that you and Henry belong together. Evie nodded as Sophie was right.

Soon, there was a knock at the door before it was opened by her father. "Sophie, could you please leave me and my daughter alone for a moment?"

Sophie nodded. "Yes, you're majesty."

The king waited for Sophie to leave the room before he started speaking with Evie. "You look beautiful." He told her.

"Don't tell me that. I am not happy on what is supposed to be the happiest day of my life." Evie said. "You are forcing me to marry someone I don't love!"

"I am doing this for my kingdom! And you should be too!" Her father yelled. "The wedding will begin in thirty minutes. You better be ready by then."

Evie watched her father leave, before she went back over to her window and looked out of it. She just hoped that maybe Henry had a plan. If not, she was doomed to marry Chad and spend the rest of her life with him, as his queen.

Henry, Mal, and Mike rode up to the castle, where they would be stopping the wedding. "Ok, so how are we gonna do this?" Henry asked Mal.

"We're gonna sneak up to the second floor balcony above the throne room where the wedding is taking place, it's not being used because everyone is gonna be on the first floor, Mike will make all the lighting in the throne room go out, and while they try to light the room again you are gonna lower yourself down by a rope and grab the princess. And once they relight all of the candles, they'll see that she's gone and with you up on the balcony, and then you'll declare your love for each other. Anything after that is pretty much unpredictable. All I can say is try your best to convince the king to allow you two to be together." Mal explained the plan to them.

Henry and Mike nodded before they then snuck into the castle, Mike going in a different direction then Henry and Mal. They only had a few minutes to get into their positions, they could already hear music coming from the throne room. And so, Henry and Mal snuck up to the balcony lowering themselves to the floor so no one would see them. And just then they heard the pipe organ start playing the wedding march as Evie walked down the aisle with her father.

Henry was speechless at the sight of Evie in her dress. Chad was so lucky to be the one she was walking down the aisle towards. Mal started tying the rope to the balcony as Henry stared at Evie. He watched the king give Evie to Chad as they then approached the priest.

"Dearly beloved! We are all gathered here on this beautiful day to unite Princess Genevieve of Dawnessburg and Prince Chad of Cinderellasburg in holy matrimony. If anyone has any objections as to why these two should be married, speak now, or forever hold your peace." He said.

And just then, the candles were all blown out, putting the entire throne room in darkness. Henry tied the rope around his waist and Mal lowered him down to Evie who he then picked up in his arms and brought her back up to the balcony. Once the candles had been relighted, everyone gasped when they saw the princess was gone. The king stood up, furious.

"Where is my daughter?!"

"I object the marriage!" They all heard someone yell. So everyone looked up at the balcony to see a man with the princess.

"As do I!" Evie yelled as well.

"You! How did you get out of the dungeons?!"

"Your majesty, you must understand that me and your daughter are madly in love." Henry told him.

"It's true, daddy!" Evie said.

"No! You are supposed to be marrying Chad! Get down here now!" The king demanded.

"Daddy please! Can't you just listen to me!?" Evie asked as tears began to slip down her cheeks. "I love Henry! And I want to marry him! Not Chad!"

Evie saw her father's expression soften even from way down below her. "You love him?" He asked.

Evie nodded at him. "I do." She told him.

"And he loves you?"

"I do." Henry said as well.

The king glanced down at his feet before back up at the balcony and at them. "This isn't easy, but I approve. If you are truly happy with him, I can look past my pride and honor your happiness." He told her.

Evie started crying tears of joy as she ran down the balcony and to her father who she went over to hug. "I love you, daddy."

"And I love you too. I'm sorry. For everything." He apologized.

Evie smiled at him before she kissed his cheek. And Henry soon appeared at her side, and he shook hands with the king. "Thank you, your majesty. For allowing us to be together."

"Well, we did come for a wedding. Might as well still have one, am I right?" He asked.

Henry and Evie smiled at each other before walking up to the priest. They said their vows and had their first kiss as husband and wife. The whole kingdom applauded for them as they ran out of the throne room holding onto each other's hands.

"Well, looks like you two got your happy ending after all." Mal said once they caught up with each other.

Henry looked over at his now wife with a smirk on his face. "Yeah. We did." He said.

A few days later they were then crowned as the King and Queen of Dawnessburg. And with their crowns on their heads, they ran out to Henry's horse. He helped Evie on behind him. "Where to, my Queen?"

Evie brought her lips to his ear as she wrapped her arms around him. "Everywhere." She whispered.

"You got it!" He replied before they galloped off into the sunset. And they lived happily ever after.
