"Niklaus, please." Amara begged.

"Amara, you know I can't let you. You're pregnant with our baby. I can't imagine what would happen if you get hurt." He said.

"I can be careful. I'm a hybrid. Our family needs me."

"I know but anything could happen. No-one knows how this could go down. I just want to protect you. I can't let you fight them."

Amara sighed and looked down before nodding. Klaus sighed and sat down next to his disappointed wife, pulling her into his arms.

"I know you want to protect our family but we still have to protect our little one, don't we?" He said as he placed his hand on her still flat stomach.

"I know. I just....I'm scared. If something happens to you...I...I won't be able to cope-"

"Shh, there's no need to say that because nothing like that will happen. Besides, Aurora, Lucien and Tristan are outnumbered. Kol, Elijah, Rebekah, Marcel, Hayley and Josh and I will be there and you will stay with Davina so no one tries to hurt you. Please Love."

Amara nodded and rested her head on Klaus' shoulder. He was right. She had to protect their child.

"Nik, it's time to go." Said Rebekah who popped her head through the door. Klaus nodded and she left.

"Please be careful." Amara said, squeezing his hand.

"I'll be back before you know it. Please stay here and stay safe." Klaus said. Amara nodded and gave her husband a kiss. He then kissed her tummy, making Amara smile. "I'll be back for you, I promise."

Klaus kissed his wife one more time before leaving. He joined his siblings along with Marcel and Josh before leaving the compound.

"So, where are we going to find these bastards?" Klaus asked.

"By the docks. Come on." Kol said.

The group left for the docks and when they arrived, no-one was there.

"Tristan! Aurora! Lucien! Show yourselves!" Elijah yelled and all of a sudden, Tristan and Aurora appeared in front of them.

"Elijah. My sire. Wow, the years were kind to you, weren't they?" Tristan smirked.

"Enough with this small talk. Let's end this." Marcel said.

"Hang on. Where's Lucien?" Klaus asked.

"Oh Niklaus. For once in your life, can you not be paranoid?" Aurora smirked. "Lucien is currently occupied but don't worry. As soon as he finishes his task, he'll be here."

"Aurora. Where. Is. He." Klaus growled.

"Davina, I can't. I can't stay here and be useless whilst my family are out there fighting for their lives." Amara said. She was feeling rather anxious.

"Amara, I know you want to fight for your family but you really shouldn't. You need to relax." Davina said.

"I can't relax. Not while my family could be in danger. Davina, there has to be a spell, right? A spell that will allow me to fight whilst protecting my baby? A spell that protects my baby from any harm if I get hurt?" Amara asked.

"Um...there is but I-"

"Davina, please. I can't sit here and relax. I need to help my family." Amara begged.

"I could put a protection spell on you. Even if you get kicked or hurt on your stomach or anywhere else, the baby would remain unharmed."

"Please, spell me Davina."

"But, what about Klaus?"

"I'll deal with Niklaus. I promise you he won't do anything to you. Please do this, Davina."

Davina looked hesitant but nodded. "This is going to hurt for a moment." Amara nodded and Davina closed her eyes before chanting. She could feel a small pain in her stomach but nothing she couldn't handle. The most it felt like was a period cramp. Davina opened her eyes. "It's done. Your baby will remain unharmed no matter what injuries you get. It'll last for the rest of the day. Just don't die. The spell can't protect the baby from death."

"I'm not planning on dying today." Amara said.

"Well then maybe you should change your plans." The pair heard, turning their heads to see a man.

"Who are you?" Amara asked.

"So, you're the original wife, huh? Aren't you gorgeous?" The man smirked. "I can see why Niklaus is in love with you. You are a stunner. But alas, no one is more beautiful than my Aurora."

"Lucien." Amara said in realisation. "You were the one that wrote that letter for Aurora. It was you."

"Yes, that was me. I declared my love for Aurora but was unable to be with her because of your pathetic husband. He ruined my entire life and now I'm going to ruin his. Now, I'm going to get right to the point. I'm gonna kill you then I'll be on my way to get rid the rest of the pathetic Mikaelsons." He said with a sick smile on his face.

"Well, let's see how well you do getting past me." Amara said before charging towards him however, Lucien grabbed her and tossed her onto the wall before she collapsed to the ground.

"You can do better than that, can't you?" Lucien asked before chuckling.

Davina growled and held her hand out, making Lucien scream as he held onto his head in pain. Amara got up and vamped towards Lucien, tossing him onto a nearby table, causing it to break. Lucien got up and sped towards Amara, holding her up by the neck.

"You got moves but I'm a thousand years old. You're no match for me." Lucien smirked.

"Maybe your little girlfriend didn't tell you. You may be a thousand years old, but I'm a hybrid." Amara growled, flashing her yellow eyes. Lucien's face fell, giving Amara the chance to kick his gut, making him let go of her as he stumbled over. She vamped over to him and bit into his neck, making him scream in pain. Amara pulled away and wiped her bloody mouth. Lucien put his hand to his neck, realising he was now bit and was going to die.

"Looks like I'm going to die. But if I die, I'm taking you with me. Niklaus will suffer for the rest of his miserable immortal life." Lucien growled before vamping to Amara and kicking her in the gut, making her yell in pain as she held onto her stomach. She had the protection spell on her though so although she was in pain, her baby was still safe and protected. Lucien grabbed onto her hair and threw her across the couch. Amara growled as she felt her head that was bleeding slightly and picked up a piece of the broken coffee table. She kicked his knee so Lucien fell to his knees and she stabbed the wooden piece into his chest but not yet killing him. She twisted the piece, making Lucien growl in pain as Amara glared daggers into him.

"Davina. Search his head. I need to know where everyone is." Amara said.

Davina ran over and placed her hands on his head before closing her eyes. She opened them again after a few seconds. "They're at the docks."

Amara nodded and turned to face Lucien again. "They will kill your entire family." Lucien growled. "You will all suffer."

"Well Lucien, in about ten seconds, you'll be dead. Same goes to your little lover and her brother. Then you can spend the rest of your miserable life on the Other Side with your precious Aurora. May you all rot in hell." Amara growled before pushing the wooden stake into his heart, making Lucien scream in agony as his skin turned grey and black veins appeared all over him. Lucien fell to the ground and Amara took a deep breath before holding her belly.

"Your baby is safe." Davina said.

"The spell worked. Looks like I'm going to the docks after all."
