Chapter 16

Sunday

I woke up alone, tucked into the blankets, and sore. I yawned and stretched out my body making sure to crack all of my joints for some relief, I rubbed my eyes and got out of the bed. I grabbed my silk robe that hung on the back of the door and put it on making sure to tie it on the side before walking out of my room. 

Part of me wondered where Jin had gone

And the other part of me just assumed he had gotten a shower or something. 

I walked down the stairs and there was already coffee made in the pot and a plate of eggs and bacon on the counter, his plate was already in the sink so I smiled and got a cup of coffee before sitting down and eating breakfast. 

I stood up and put my stuff in the sink before heading back to my bedroom, I checked my phone to see if Liza had messaged me at all about Ellie, but I had nothing. So I decided to go get a shower. I was humming to myself as I let the water run down my hair and my body with my eyes closed 
"Noona?" I jumped as he opened the shower curtain, he smiled as he stepped into the shower "showering without me?"
"You ate breakfast without me" I giggled making him laugh as he wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my temple 
"At least I made some for you" he smiled 
"And it was delicious" 
"Good" he kissed my lips softly making me smile, we took our time in the shower and he laughed at me when my hair was in my face 
"You look like the girl from the ring" he laughed making me laugh as I rinsed my hair 

We both got dressed and sat down at the kitchen table together 
"What time is Ellie coming home?"
"I didn't ask Liza, and she hasn't texted me so I'm not sure. Usually she brings her home after dinner time this way I can get her showered and in bed for school"
"So we have the day to ourselves?"
"Yeah" I smiled as my cheeks turned hot 
"A whole day with my, girlfriend?" He said unsurely, he was self conscious about using the word. Especially because even though we kind of talked about our feelings before we decided to get physical, there was no actual title discussed. 

I didn't mind. 

I smiled as I thought about it. 

"A whole day with my boyfriend" I cheesed "what do we do?"

He relaxed at my words and smiled widely at me letting a little chuckle leave his lips making me giggle 

"Wow" he breathed out 
"What?" I asked with a smile
He smiled and shook his head "just...hearing you call me your boyfriend" he blushed making me laugh 
"You should feel what I felt when you called me your girlfriend. I feel like a teenager" 
"Me too" he confessed with a chuckle, his face got serious for moment 
"Do, do we tell Ellie?" 
"Um.. I'm not sure honestly. I've never had to deal with something like this before so I'm not quite sure how to go about it" 
"And Yoongi.." he added "he's gonna kill me"
"Probably, but I'm older than him so he has to listen to me anyway" 
"I don't think that's going to save me" he laughed making his shoulders bounce up and down and shook his head 
"I say, we rip it off like a band aid and tell Yoongi, and I'll ask him if he has any advice on how to handle it with Ellie" 
He nodded "okay" 

We sat on the sofa together as I pulled out my phone and facetimed my brother 

"Hey sissy" he smiled
"Hey!" I cheesed
"How are you? It's been like three days since we talked" he chuckled
"I know, I just have to tell you something" 
"Oh god" he rolled his eyes "what is it?"
"Um, well, I have a boyfriend" I smiled wide as his smile dropped and he kept a very emotionless expression on his face 
"Don't look so happy Yoongs" 
"It's not that I'm not happy" he shook his head "but, you're a very closed off person, and it takes a lot for you to open up, and that leaves you vulnerable, and you haven't even expressed any interest in anyone since fuck face left and it just makes me worry about you. I don't want you to go through what happened before. I'm not even on the same continent if something goes wrong"
"I think this is different" 
"He has a penis correct?"
"Yes" I laughed 
"Then it won't be different" he shook his head and sat up on his bed "Yumi, please be careful" 
"I will, and it is different"
"I hope so" 
"Well, he's super sweet" 
"Most men are until they get what they want" 
"Even if it were Jin?"
"You would never date Jin" he shook his head "you have zero interest in younger men" 
"I did...until it was Jin" 
He looked up at the ceiling in his room and back down to the camera 
"It's Jin hyung?"
"Mhmm" I nodded with a smile 
He lowered his head and shook it as he chuckled "oh boy" he sighed out "well, I'm less worried now. Jin is genuinely a good person, he wouldnt do you dirty. And if he did I could easily kill him so I'm not worried" 

We laughed as Jin covered his mouth and tried to stay quiet 

"So, you don't mind that it's your best friend?"
"Hell no" he laughed "he's someone I trust and admire, I know you're in good hands" he smiled "I hope you two make eachother happy. You both deserve that" 
"Awww thank you" I smiled "I was wondering though..should I tell Ellie?" 
"How long have you guys been together?" 
"Um, well, we kind of talked about it last night but then stuff happened, and then we woke up and agreed on it so I guess..about a half hour?"
"Oh ew! God, for christ's sake Yumi" he scrunched up his face making me laugh "please don't ever tell me that ever again" 
"Okay okay" I laughed 
"I would wait it out a little bit before telling her. Let it get serious first you know? This way if anything does go south, she isn't as upset over it if that makes sense? I don't know, it's Ellie, she's mature for her age and handles things better than most kids her age" 
"That's why I'm conflicted" 
"I don't really know" he shook his head "I think it'll just feel right when it's time to tell her" 
I nodded "thanks Yoongi"
"Of course" he smiled "I need to go to sleep now though" 
"Okay, I loooooove youuuu" 
"I love you too sissy, good night. Give Ellie kisses for me" 
"Will do" I smiled as we ended the call 

I sat my phone down and looked over at Jin with a smile, he was already staring at me with a wide smile on his face, he lunged for me making me laugh as he got on top of me and kissed my face all over 
"Jin!" I squealed as he tickled me 
"I'm so excited!" He announced before he pulled away from me with a laugh 
"Me too" I smiled 
He leaned in and kissed me softly
"I promise noona, I will make you happy. You won't regret giving me a chance" 
"I know" I smiled and pecked his lips. 

The little voice in the back of my head was telling me that this could all be one giant mistake. 

That this whole thing was going to blow up in my face.
