JJ Pov

My alarm sounded at 7:00 am, I started to wake up, but I felt something pulling me down to bed, I opened my eyes and saw that this was not my room.

Emily was there completely wrapped around me, I had to wake her up because we had to start getting ready for work.

"Emily, Em, hey wake up darling" I whispered in ear to wake her up

But she didn't even flinch so I had to try harder I shoke her and that worked, she opened her eyes, saw me and a beautiful smile appeared in her sleepy face.

"Good morning Em, how did you sleep last night , anymore nightmares?" I asked her concerned of what her answer might be

" Morning, nope I didn't have any nightmares since you came, you didn't have to tho" she said embarrassed

" Hey Em listen to me, I'm always going to be here for you no matter what happens okay come here" I said opening my arms as she snuggled a little bit

This feeling felt right like she belonged in my arms

"We have to start making breakfast so let's get going" she said standing up and going to the kitchen

"I hope that you don't mind eating toast for breakfast is all that I got, before our last case I was going to go to the supermarket but then the case happened and I didn't have time enough time to go" she started rambling

"Toast is good with me don't worry, what about this you make the toast I make the coffe" I said as she nodded and started making breakfast

We had a lovely conversation while we were eating mostly about the job but also about other girls night , about the movie that we yesterday saw. And how she hopes to find a love that's real and start a family.

When she said that I felt extremely jealous but why I had my own family, sure i did not love Will anymore but he was there for me and Henry when we needed him

We started getting ready and left the apartment, got into our cars and drove to the office.

I  waited as Emily went to grab her second coffe from 'Dennis' the coffe shop that's in front of the headquarters.

In that moment I decided to check my phone, there was one text from Will that was sent last night 'JJ where are you'

So I answer the text

'I told you we were going to have a girls night' in which he immediately replies

'But you always come back home'

I didn't know what made me stay the night so I just put an excuse

'When were watching the last film we fall asleep, sorry I didn't texted you'

'It's okay have a good day at job, love you'

'Have a good day too, bye'

I couldn't bear myself to put ' love you too' in the last message because I haven't fell the same for a few months now.

"Hey jayje" I saw Emily standing in front of me with that smile so bright and those eyes that I could be lost in them

"Hey" I said coming back

"I lost you there for a moment, a penny for you thoughts?" She asked smiling

" It's nothing, everything's okay, come on now we are gonna be late" I said as I grabbed her arm linking it with mine

As we entered the office I said hello to everybody and went straight to work on paperwork to take my mind off of everything.

As I shut the door of my office I saw Emily talking with Spence and Morgan, they were laughing and joking about something as they always do, Morgan was touching her arm and again I felt jealous and I don't know why, she is my best friend I shouldn't be jealous of those things, but everything about her is perfect.

I still remember the first time we meet like it was yesterday

I was going to Hotch office and knocked, I didn't know that he was reunited with someone

Flashback

'Hey Hotch we have to present the case in five minutes' I said as I looked at the beautiful girl that was talking with him, in that instant moment i knew.

I knew that she was going to work with us, with that determination and character that she had.

'I'll be there in a moment' he said as he exited his office

'Who was that?' I asked him as we entered the round table

' No one, there was a mistake in paperwork and she thought that she was going to work here' he said as he took a seat in his chair

Little did I knew that the beautiful girl was going to be that persistent about the job that she would eventually become part of the team an also of my heart.

I snapped out of my  trace when I heard a knock in my office door 'come in' I said while looking at my paperwork

The door opened and Emily entered my office

"Hey Jayje i was wondering if you wanted to go to lunch with Penelope and me we are going to that sandwich place that has been opened recently" she said with a hint of nervousness in her voice

"Sure, I'll go guys" I said smiling at her

"Okay so I'll come and pick you up and then we go to Pen's office "

"Fantastic, bye Em " I said as she opened the door

"Bye bye jayje till later" she said as she shut the door

Good she was so cute

Wait, this thoughts again

I have to control myself I can't have this type of thoughts about my best friend evethough that she in completely adorable

Maybe I like her more than a friend i start to think about the possibility, about the 'What if'.

What would happend to our friendship if what I fell is more than friendship what would she said, maybe this is just an stupid crush

I have to come with a solution of my feelings first and then fix everything else.

But first I have to finish this paperwork before lunch, I stayed filling paperwork and looking for possible cases that may need our help

Two our later I finished reviewing everything

There was another knock on my door

'Who is it' I asked

"JJ it's Emily come on let's go to search for Pen and grab lunch" she shouted from the other side of the door

"Coming , coming jezz" I said as I picked up my jacket and the bag off of my chair and opened the door to reveal her standing there.

This is going to be a very long day I'm sure of it.
