"I guess its my turn,the beggining of our story was a little bit problematic, never knowing when we were going to get together but in the end, it was all perfect, of couse, how could it not be just look at you, you are my everything baby" I say looking at Emily
The teams laughs at that
"Woah JJ you are really lovestruck aren't you" Morgan cuts off
"Shhh!" Penelope say slapping his arm
"Shut your mouth and don't ruin their moment Derek" she adds whispering
" Why did it take us so long, for us to be together, from the star all of our pieces fitted together in a perfect way, we understand each other in an emotional nevel that nobody else does, we are soulmates and im so grateful for that, im so gratteful for having you in my life and spend all my mornigs beeing you the first thing I see as soon as I wake up and the last thing that my eyes see when I close them at night" i tell her
"Im grateful for you too" she says with tears threatenig to fall from her eyes
" I should have made a move all those years ago, maybe much earlier than I meet Will and had Henry, I have always fell an appreciation for you, but until this last year, I couldn't place the correct emotion for that, but this year I learned that what I feel for you is love." I smile at her
"I love you and I would like if we could spend all of our live together forever, knowing how is this job, anything could happend anyday and one thing that this job has teached me is that you have to live your life like it was your last day" I stop a little to look around and I see everyone smiling, probably knowing what I'm about to ask the love of my life
"So I have two surprises for you" I stop to grab the piece of paper that I have been carrying in my wallet for the last days and hand it to her
"The first thing is Henry's adoption paper, I would like that you would have as much as power as I do when we have to make an important to make decisions for our child and the second one, if you accept of couse is" I say as I kneel on one knee and pull out the engagement ring that I bought sometime ago when I left Henry with her.
"Will you mary me Emily Prentiss and make up forever, for all those lost years that we let the time pass in front of our eyes?" I ask her
"Omg!!" Peneloe yells as Rossi records this video
Hotch takes a couple of pictures while Emily has both her hands in her mouth
"Say something please dont leave me hanging" I say trying to me a joke
She laughs at what I have just said
"Of couse I'll marry you idiot" she exclaims kissing me
I get up and hug her as I spin her around the room
"I hope that I recorded all of this" Rossi says as he shuts the phone
"Whoa JJ that was quite a whole paragraph in there" Spence comments as he hugs me
"Show me that ring Emily" Garcia says as she takes a lok at the piece of jellewry that I just put on Emily's finger
"JJ this has cost a small fortune and I didn't see you taking all this money off of your bank account" she tells me
"I knew that you looked at my bank account, thats why I had a small portion of money reserved for this" I tell her
"Garcia, did you just admit that you spy our bank accounts?" Hotch ask
"No Sir, I just merely give them a look somedays" she say
"I have already all your wedding planned here look" Rossi says as he hands us a book
"When did you have time to make this?" I inquire as I give look to all these paper with differents photos of restaurants, church and flower shops that DC has
"I've been doing it since you two meet each other" he reponds
"How, I had just started my relationship with Will when you joined the team, how was possible to do that when I had a dumb boyfriend at the time?" I ask him
"Well, I'm a very good profiler I may say, better than Reid here, it was very obvious that the both of you were going to end together somehow, no matter how many years passed, I continued making this and today is the day that I'm going to finally use it" he says with a proud smile
"Did you see that Derek, I want that " Penelope says as she shows him Emily's engagement ring
"Baby girl I dont have enough money to buy that, plus we have just started our relationship a few monts ago" he says
"And your point is bullshit, I have looked at you bank accounts and you have enough money to buy two rings" she says smirking
"Leave it for next Christmas and who know maybe it happens Pen" Emily comments
The doorbell sounds and Rossi goes to open it
"Did we missed it?" My mom says holding little Henry in her arms
"Emmy" he says as he sees Emily, he runs towards her
"Grandma told me that you are going to be my new mommy" he tells her
"She is right buddy, would you like that" she ask him
"Yeah mommy" he mutters in her ear, loud enough for everyone in the roon hear
"Yeah mom, I told you to come at 8 o'clock not at 9" I tell her
"Damn it" she says
"Dont worry Sandy, I have everything in here, now I just need one of these boys to show me how to send it to you" he says
"Oh, let me do it, Jenny teached me to do it the last time she came to visit, I'll explain it to you it's pretty simple" she tells him as all of them go to the kitchen
I go towards Emiy that has now a nearly sleeping Henry in her arms
"Spence can you carry him to one the guest rooms?" I ask him
"Of couse, lets go to take a nap Henry" he says as the go upstairs
"Finally a moment alone" I say as I hug her from behind
"Thank you for all of this jayje" she tells me
"For what exactly are you thanking me darling?" I ask confused
"For everything that you have done for me, for giving me a family, for loving me as much as I do and for teaching me how to do it, you have brought the best of me since the first moment that I meet you that first day on Hotch's office and I'm so happy to be your wife" she says
"I marry my best friend and have a family of my own, you gave me all of that so, I thank you for all of this, you made my life a million times better, just by staying around when I needed you the most" she finish giving me a peck on my lips
"I would do it again for you, I would repeat the story for you if it means that I get to have you for the rest of my life, but maybe this time I do it sooner" i say kissing her
I love my life and I'm grateful for all the time that i have spent with my family, it has helped me find the love of my life and form a beautiful family with her that one day I hope it grows.
