In Time

As we went back from lunch I've been stuck with paperwork, now it was the time to go home but I didn't want to left this unfinished until tomorrow I had to finish reviewing the files that I had left.

There was a knock in the door and it opened moments later

"Hey what are you doing here, why didn't you go home?" I asked her looking at the time

"Well I could say the same thing to you" Emily said smiling

"Why aren't you home Em?" I asked her knowing that Emily was the first one to leave the office

"It's nothing jayje, im sure you have a lot of things to do" She said as she looked down to the floor

"Okay so what's up" I said looking up at her beautiful eyes

"Well my car doesn't start so I called a taxi and went back here to wait, and thats when I saw that your office still had the light on" she said looking at me

"I have to finish some things if you wait a little I can give you a ride home if you want darling" I said looking at her

" I can help you with that you know that way we both will go home faster" she said sitting in front of me

I nodded and passed her a bunch of files

We worked in silence and finished working 30 minutes later.

"Finally, we can go home now" I said grabbing the rest of my things

Emily did the same and we headed towards the elevator and to the garage.

While we were in the car Emily started a small conversation.

"So how are things with Will you know with the long hours again you two barely see each other" she said

"Everything is okay Em" I said not wanting to talk about it

"I'm so glad there was not a case today, with what happend in the last two ones left me drained" she said looking at the window.

"You know I wouldn't have had anything happend to you darling" I said smiling while driving the car

"I know, you are my hero Jennifer Jareau" she said causing me to laught

" At your service Miss Prentiss anything for you" I said as I parked the car in front of her apartment

"Well goodbye my hero I'll see you tomorrow" Emily said kissing my check

"Bye my darling till morning" I said as she shut the car door

Driving more slower than usual to my way home I thought about him

Did I always felt this way about her?

Did Will even caught my eye or it was because she said that sentence

'You would make a cute couple"

I still don't know why I went and followed him

Did I ever liked him like that?

Maybe at first, but I'm sure that I don't now, he is so different from the caring Dad he once was

I parked outside of my house the lights were on meaning that Will was awake and waiting for me.

"Hey baby" He said as I entered the house

"Hi" I say going into our bedroom

"JJ why didn't you came back last night?" He ask me as in changing into my pj
