We had dinner at a lovely bar, now we are in a club celebrating all our good news.

Garcia has already left when we called Kevin to come and pick her up because God was she wasted

Now I was trying to make the same with Emily but this was very hard, she just went to get another round five minutes ago.

I get that there are a lot of people in the club, but how many minutes does it take to make a Vodka.

So I picked up our things and went looking for her, I saw that she was talking to some guy, judging from her body posture she was very uncomfortable and the guy was over her, so I had to step in.

"Hey Em, ready to go?" I say as I put my arm over her shoulder

"Yeah, I'm getting very sleepy here" she says flinching at his sudden touch in her arm

"Come on baby tell your friend you are going home with me" he says, as he tries to grab her

"No" she says taking cover behind me

As he gets up and tries to go to her I grab his hand

"Hey I think you did not just heard what she said, so I'm going to repeat it to you so listen, I recall that she said NO, and when a ladie says no you respect her and don't touch her without her consent are we clear" I said giving him a death glare

"Or what, are you going to hit me, look at you, you are so tiny" he says

Even though that I'm taller than Emily

That's it, he deserves it

I tell Emily to hold my jacket and purse, show her a small smile, turn around and punch the guy in the jaw knocking him unconscious.

I turn around again and Emily is completely pale

"Jayje I think I'm..." she says as she nearly falls to the floor

I catch her in just seconds before she hits her head.

Her drink was spiked

I call the police, they show up grab the guy that some witnesses says that they saw him put something in her drink, as I gave my testimony of what happend, Emily is asleep in the couch of the club.

When I finish I grab mine and Emily's purses and carry her to my car, I fast her sealt belt and drive off to my house.

I admire her when the trafic lights come to an stop

How the moon reflects in one part of her face, how her closed eyes make her face look way more innocent and relaxed

Can this feeling destroy our friendship, I'm really going to fuck everything up

She has had tough time when datin new people, I don't want to hurt her like that

I don't want to be the reason for her heartache, and then the destruction of our friendship if this goes wrong

I park my car and carry Emily towards the guest room bridal style, put her some of my pjs and let her sleep.

I got to my bedroom change into my comfy pj and shut off the light.

A scream wakes me up, first I don't know where is coming from, but then my mind thinks EMILY, I run as fast as I can to my guest room, turn the light on and there she is completely terrified, she is still asleep and is having a very powerful nightmare, so I shake her in hopes I wake her up.

"Emily, Emily, Honey, EMILY!" I shout

With that her beautiful eyes open, she instantly sees me and relaxes so I sat next to her in the bed and open my arms inviting her to come, and she does, she sits in my lap.
