We said goodbye to my mom and Henry, since he wanted to stay a little bit longer with her, he is such an spoiled child with my mother
"Are you ready to go back home?" I ask her as I pull out of my mom's driveway
"Yes" she answered
"At what time do de have dinner with the Team?" She asks
"I think that it's at 8 o'clock but I'm not sure, don't worry we will check it as soon as we arrive home" I say not remembering the time
"I still can believe that they did a bet about us" she says laughing
"Let them be, just think that they all have lost because I took my time to confess my feelings to you" I smile
"Well, Pen won the bet" she tells me
"You are right, I guess that woman knows everything" I joke and an small smile appears on her face
"I would have waited longer for you" she tells me
"I don't know about that" I say
"And why not?" She ask
"You may have found somebody else" I stated
"But no one would have been you" She tells me
"We have to stop for something to eat angel" I say, not knowing how to answer her
"And why can't we go straight home?" She asks me
"What do you have in mind?" I inquired
"We could order something and eating it in the car" she says
"That's not a bad idea darling, what do you want to eat?" I ask her
"I'm in a mood for a burger" she says
"Whatever you want baby" I say
"Where is the nearest restaurant?" I add while driving
"I'll look it up" she says as she grabs her phone
Choosing the best destination, we park and stay looking at the menu
"You know what desert I would like?" I ask her as the waitress finish taking our orders
"You just ordered it, but I guess that you can change it" Emily says as she is looking for a waiter
"My dessert is not on the menu darling, in fact I have it in front of me" I state as she blushed
"I..I also liked it" she mutters as our food arrives
"This burger is amazing" Emily says as she takes her final bite
"Mmhh" I say as I finish my last frie
"How many time do we have left?" She ask
"About thirty minutes" I say as I'm driving again
Emily's phone suddenly rang and she answered it
'Hey Pen' She said
'Yeah, I had fun at what time was the dinner?' She ask
'Shit really?'She says
'We will be there in 30' She says as she hungs up
"What did she want?" I ask her
"They are already there jayje, we late" she tells me
"How, the dinner was not till 8 o'clock?" I ask
"You were wrong" she smirks
We enter Rossi's house and there was already the team waiting
