Chapter 27: The Baby's Coming!!

I checked the time on my phone. 5:31 AM. I've been sitting in the waiting room for 3 hours with Katie, Nick, Uncle Arnold, Aunt Mary, Uncle Samuel, Grandpa Charlie, Grandma Heidi, Zaida Stephen, Bubbie Selma and 4 of my cousins, Kyle, Shayla, Brad and Lauren. I was the closest with Shayla and Brad, so I sat beside them and spoke to them. Shayla was a year younger than me, so it was easy to talk to her. Brad was 13, but was very social. But those 2 never got along.

We did have a pretty good time bonding. I haven't seen all my cousins in 2 years. So it was nice re-connecting with my family.

At around 4 AM, Shayla had to go to the bathroom so she left. While she was gone, a very attractive boy sat beside me and took her seat. He had a blonde whiff back haircut, just like Kian's. He had green dazzling eyes

I turned to him "Hi. I'm Sydney."

He turned to me "Hi. I'm Mitchell."

I smiled at him "Is everything okay?"

He sighed "Yeah. My brother had a bike accident and I just found out he had two broken arms, a broken leg and his mouth is wired shut."

I turned to him again "The same thing happened to me."

"Really? Well, were you okay?" Mitchell asked me

I nodded "Just on crutches for a bit. He'll get through it. What's his name?"

"Spencer." Mitchell told me

"How old is he?" I asked

"He's only 8." He said

"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry. I hope he feels better fast. Listen, if you need anything, I'll give you my number." I told him

Mitchell smiled at me "I'd like that."
We exchanged phones and put each other's numbers in

Shayla came back and noticed me flirting, so she took a different seat

Mitchell and I just talked. Suddenly, Kian walked in, out of breath, panting

He saw me and bent down on his knees begging for forgiveness "Please-please-forgive me, Sydney."

Mitchell decided to bud in "Forgive him for what?"

I didn't care if i humiliated Kian at this point. There's no excuse for cheating. "Oh, he cheated on me."

"Look, dude, why don't you just get out of here." Mitchell told Kian

Kian shook his head "Buddy, I can do whatever I want."

Mitchell looked fuming and stood up "You wanna go?!"

Next then I knew, Mitchell pushed Kian in to a wall and was practically beating him up

Brad, Kyle and I ran over and broke up the fight

Brad was holding Kian back, while Kyle held Mitchell back. I faced Mitchell. "What the hell is the matter with you?! You sick bastard!"

Next thing I knew, policemen came in and arrested Mitchell and took him away

Kian had a bleeding nose and a black eye

I threw my arms around him "Oh, Kian."

He hugged me back and started crying "I'm sorry."

Kian crying made me cry "I'm sorry too. Can we start over?"

I nodded "Yes."

He smiled through his tears "Alright. Will you be my girlfriend?"

I nodded and smiled "Yes!"

He quickly hugged me and kissed me while my whole family awed

He sat down beside me where Mitchell sat and was there with me until the doctor called Katie, Nick, my grandparents and I all in.
