Chapter 18: Everything Is Going Okay

I can't believe it was only a month later and I was 100%. All I had was a cast on my left arm and I was off of crutches

I feel almost like a survivor. But I was so afraid of Andrea Russett because I got a warning from Kian

*4 weeks earlier*

So now I could go home. I was on crutches and had two broken arms! Ughh!! It sucked!! But I really wanted to surprise Kian at his house

I knocked on his door with my purple knuckle. I couldn't believe my knuckle was literally purple. It hurt so bad. It felt like a knife was being stabbed into it.

The door opened and it was Kian "Sydney?!" He smiled and gave me a big hug

"I missed you!" I told him

He looked he happiest I've ever seen him "You can talk!" He threw his arms around me and hugged me again, but not too tight

His hugs felt good and I was so glad I could talk to him

"Come in!" He said

He helped me in and on the couch

Once I was settled and able to sit down, Kian took my crutches and leaned them on the side of the couch. "How did this happen?!"

I took a deep breath "Do you know an Andrea?"

"Andrea...?" He asked

"Oh fuck. Uhh. I don't know. She has black hair and is really stylish."

He gasped "Russett!"

"That's it!" I said

"She hurt you?" Kian asked

"Well, yeah, she kind of ran her skateboard over me." I said

"I'll kill her!" He said

"How do you know her? She seems like a loser." I said angrily

He rolled his eyes "Oh, big time loser! And...she's my ex!"

I gasped "Ew!"

He nodded in agreement "I know right."

I was really curious about the two "So tell me about your relationship with her."

"Well her brother's girlfriend assumed she had the perfect girl for me. Which was Andrea. We had nothing in common! Apparently, Andrea found me on Facebook and was obsessed with me 8 and a half months. We finally met and I honestly fell deep in love with her the moment I saw her. We hit it off. My mistake. She's a psycho! You know, it was a bit of a mutual breakup, but she regretted it immediately. I really didn't. We dated for about 4 months. And stupid Ricky is dating her now!" He told me

I giggled "That's nothing! Me and you have been dating for nearly 8 months!"

He looked at me "Yeah. If you take out the Ricky part."

My cheeks turned bright red and immediately felt embarrassed

He nudged me and smiled "I'm just joking!"

I laughed with him "Thank god."

That warning about Andrea freaked me out. I never really saw her since she almost killed me. I'm guessing Kian told someone and she got caught. Kian was kind of a blabber mouth. Ha ha!

There was only 3 days left of school. We had an exam on Tuesday though! When Mrs. Weltman was blabbering about it on Monday and going over it, Kian put his hand over my hand

I blushed

He saw my blush and started stroking my hand with his thumb. He knew it drove me nuts when I did that

I let out a high-pitched scream. I guess he didn't expect that. Haha!

Annoying Weltman turned to me "Is there something wrong, Ms. Daniels?"

I shook my head, terrified "No, Mrs. Weltman."

"Better not be." She said

Everyone in the class tried to hold in their laugh, including Kian and I

But then Kian did it again! I turned him to and whispered "Hate you."

He giggled

Gosh, he was so cute. But so annoying! Haha!

When walking me home, he asked jokingly "What the hell, Syd?! Why did you scream? Didn't you know Weltman was going to get mad?"

I laughed "I didn't mean to! You know it drives me crazy when you do that!"

He nudged me and laughed "I know. Hey, do you remember at the beginning of the year when you told me Weltman was great?"

I actually did remember that exact moment. The first time Kian Lawley talked to me
