CHAPTER 27: WHERE

Third Person's POV
Binuhat kaagad ni Liam si Yoola na nawalan ng malay at may dugo na lumalabas mula sa ilong nito. Kitang-kita sa mukha ni Liam ang labis na pag-aalala kay Yoola dahil alam niyang may kinalaman ito sa sakit nito kung bakit ito nahimatay.

"What happened Liam?!" Narinig ni Liam na tanong ni Warren sa kanya mula sa earpiece na suot niya.

"She lost her consciousness and her nose is bleeding. Please call Lady Boss and inform her about what happened to Yoola." Sagot naman nito habang buhat-buhat si Y lulan ng elevator pababa ng gusali.

"On it. Dalhin mo na siya sa hospital bago pa may mangyari na hindi maganda sa kanya. Sakay na rin naman ng elevator ang mga tauhan natin bitbit si Darius. Wala ka ng dapat ipag-alala pa. Sa tingin ko ay plano na niya talaga na sumuko mula umpisa pa." Hindi na sumagot si Liam sa kausap mula sa earpiece at mabilis ang bawat lakad niya palabas ng hotel at pumara ng taxi na maghahatid sa kanila sa hospital.

Habang nasa byahe ay tinawagan agad ni Liam ang kapatid ni Y na nasa Pilipinas. "X your sister! I'm rushing her to the hospital. Nahimatay siya at dumudugo ang ilong niya. Anong gagawin ko?!" May nerbyos na sabi ni Liam sa matalik na kaibigan.

"Damn you! I'll get a ticket right away! Just stay with her until I am already there! Calm down Liam." Kahit papaano ay nagkaroon ng pag-asa si Liam at medyo nakahinga na siya ng maluwag.

"We'll wait for you. I'll call you again once we arrived in the hospital." Hindi na niya hinayaan ang kaibigan niya na sumagot at pinatayan na niya ito ng tawag at saka inasikaso si Y na wala pa ring malay habang nakaupo pa sa tabi niya.

Pagkarating nila sa hospital ay agad namang inasikaso ng ilang nurse at doktor si Y at dinala sa emergency room. Naupo lang si Liam malapit sa emergency room at tinawagan ulit ang kapatid ni Y na nakakuha na ng ticket papunta ng Australia at nagmamaneho na ito ngayon ng sasakyan pauwi sa bahay nila para makapag-impake.

After their second conversation of his best friend, he let his head rest in the wall of the hospital while seating on the waiting area. An hour passed by when the doctor approached him about the case of Y. "Yes doc. I am with her."

The doctor sighed before he remove his face mask so that they can talk clearly. "Just to clarify. What is her real condition? We need to determine her state because it can be alarming. Your answers may help us to discover her disease."

"She is now on her stage B of CLL. Do you think it has something to do with what happened to her doc?"

"Stage B? There's a big chance that it is because of her leukemia. For now she's still resting and we will just wait for her to wake up so that we can monitor how's her feeling. I'll go now to the laboratory to get some of her test. After an hour I'll be back to you and I'll tell you the result."

Bago pa umalis ang doktor ay nagtanong siya ulit. "Do you think it is really because of her leukemia? I mean she's already on the stage B of her leukemia and she's not getting better day by day even if she always take her medicines on time. Or maybe she's just tired and got a fatigue that's why she got unconscious and her nose bleed."

"In numerical rate it's like 80%-20%. 80% cause by her leukemia and the 20% left is maybe she's just too tired that's why it happened to her. When the nurses put her on her new room, you may stay with her inside to monitor and watch her and if something bad happen to her you can update us easily. I'll go now and see you in an hour."

Liam nodded and let the doctor do his job. "Thanks doc." After the doctor left, he sit again on the waiting area until the nurses goes out of the emergency room and their pushing the hospital bed where Yoola is laying and still unconscious, pale and oblivious in her surroundings.
