"Hey! I'm going out. Do you guys want me to pick up anything for you?"

The day had gone rather smoothly. No real problems or interruptions occurred. Gon and Kil went out earlier to meet their friend Kurapika while I chose to stayed inside, researching for future jobs.

When the boys came back, the brought Kurapika and Leorio with them saying they had some things to discuss that bystanders couldn't hear.

I had no problem with it, of course. In fact it was sort of nice being with slightly older people rather then being stuck with two twelve year olds.

I pulled on a tattered black coat and grabbed my keys, card and phone. Shoving them in various pockets. "Chocorobos!" Killua called. Everyone else said they were fine.

"Alright. See you later." I opened my room door and left the building.

---

Although it wasn't late, it wasn't early either. The sun was still in the sky, causing certain surfaces to glow a bright yellow and orange hue.
The moon was somehow visible in the big blue sky and the markets were plenty full. Full of people.

The fridge back at the hotel room was empty, with the exception of the odd, questionable packaged pastes that reminded me of astronaut food.

Yeah... Not eating that...

The plan was to get enough food the supply the rest of my stay as well as some other items that I may need.

---

Everything was accounted for, only stop that remained was Killua's chocorobos. I walked down the streets about to enter the store only to stop at feeling of my phone vibrating.
I fished my phone out of my front pocket, clicking it the right way around and glanced at the screen. "Unknown number..." I muttered.

For privacy reasons, I walked down the alley next to the store and leaned against the wall. Sighing, I slid my thumb across the green answer button, putting the phone against my ear.

Before I had the chance to speak, a voice rung on the other end. Multiple-in fact. "Hey, Y/n--" Killua's started only to be interrupted almost instantly.

"Y/n!" Gon shouted, though it came out muffled as he was further away from the phone.

"Gon-- stop, let Killua talk to his sister." That was Kurapika. I hadn't really had a conversation with him yet but his voice was easy to decipher considering I had been living with two of the boys, and Leorio's voice is kinda hard to remember when your first impression of him involves a lot of shouting.

"Aw... Okay.. " Gon's voice sounded defeated. I could only assume he was pouting.

"Killua I haven't had a chance to mention it yet but may I just say, your sister is fi--" As I said, Leorio's voice was a hard one to forget.
And now I felt the need to rip out his voice box so I would never have to hear him speak of me again.

"Would you all shut up?!" Killua shouted. Already sounding annoyed, a rather noticeable difference compared to how he sounded earlier.
"So, Y/n. Me and the others are going down to Leorio's hotel. We have some things we have to pick up before eating out.". He said. Voice doing a complete 180°.

"We would have invited you, but Kurapika pre-booked it and didn't know about you." Gon said. He clearly felt bad that I hadn't been invited.

"Oh. Yes, right. My deepest apologies for that." Kurapika on the other hand sounded like he didn't care all that much. But then again, with all that's going on - him being the chain user and all - it was understandable.
How do I know he's the chain user? Well it's not like he really hides it. Not only that but Gon and Killua spoke to him the night they got kidnapped so it wasn't all that hard to piece two and two together.
