-1 year later-

"Hurry, Bri! We're going to be late!"

"I'm coming, I'm coming!"

Tonight was one of their latest, bigger gigs, and Roger didn't want to be late.

"I'm ready, love." Brian said walking down the hallway with his beloved guitar.

Roger shook his head and laughed, giving Brian a quick peck on the lips.

"You'd better be." They walked out to the Jeep and hopped in. Brian had been teaching Roger to drive and he finally had his license. So anytime he got the chance to drive, he'd take it.

Freddie and John were waiting outside the bar when they arrived. They had left the house earlier because they were tired of waiting.

"Come on, we're almost up." Freddie announced to the couple.

"Sorry, Fred. I didn't mean to get behind." Brian apologized. Freddie was quick to forgive him, just rushed them to get inside though.

After the incident in London, Miami and Crystal cleared up everything and proclaimed it a hoax.

Crystal help the two ex-Merman become citizens and put them into the system. Since neither had last names, they had to choose. Freddie immediately chose Mercury. He liked it, especially having a conversation with Brian about the Cosmos. Roger chose Taylor, in honor of Crystal. If it weren't for Crystal, he didn't know where they'd be.

Later on, they found out that Miami had indeed been a lawyer for a small band, but that band had broken up. They told them about their idea of becoming a band and he gladly agreed to start being a lawyer again, their lawyer.

They became known as Queen. Freddie picked it and wasn't going down without a fight for it if the other didn't like it. They went with playing the old '70-'80s rock because that's when music was best. Sure they weren't big like Greta Van Fleet or anything,  but they were rising stars. They were unique and no one could touch them.

They all were happy though. Freddie and John recently got married while Brian was still trying to find the perfect engagement ring for Roger.

Roger and Freddie did miss their once home, but they knew they had made the right choices. After the whole "hoax" thing, people's interest in the town faded. It was now safe for friends to visit. Before Roger was turned, Mina had given him a bracelet that would allow them to communicate almost like sending a letter. She made it so they could all stay in touch. They'd often rent a boat and visit with Mina, Kash, or anyone that wanted to see them.

The human world was their home now. They were right where they belonged. They always knew though, beyond the shallow waters, was a world like no other. It was magically, defied odds, and was destined for greatness. If only people truly knew about the world below the sea, they'd be blown away.

For Roger and Freddie, the world they lived in now, was extraordinary. They had dreamed of being human since they were young and now here they were. They loved their lives.

They wouldn't trade it for anything.

AHHH I can't believe I'm done with this story :'(
This story has meant a lot to me. It's proven to me that I'm capable of writing again and I've gotten way better. When I started writing back in March, I thought I was never going to finish writing it. Despite only two chapters written, I didn't think I'd ever post it. I only had half of the plot written out. I had gaps in the story, but as I continued writing, those gaps were fixed. I figured it out as I went along.
I just want to thank everyone that's read this. It's meant a lot so thank you so much. ♥️
I do have other things I'm working on right now. One's Deacury and the other is Hardzello. So if anyone wants to read them, I'll begin to post one of them in due time.😗✌🏼
     Byeee~🥺♥️
