The weekend hit once again and I felt relief. It wasn't that I hated my work or anything, but Marcus made it a little less enjoyable than it could have been. He wasn't rude anymore, just silent. So silent it was eerie.

Me? I am not a quiet person. I had troubles not blurting out everything that came to the tip of my tongue just to ease the awkwardness. I then overcompensated when I got home. I text bombed Ames' phone in the afternoon and wouldn't shut up the minute Sasha came in the door.

I needed some human interaction yo! The couple hours with Mary and Susan before I left was not enough. I guess my friendship with Ames was staying strong this way, but Sasha was probably annoyed with me.

I know he was tired and all, but I loved to hear his voice. Even if it was just a few words about his day, or asking me to pass the salt. My favourite was when he would praise me though. By far.

Those two little words, 'good boy,' could change my whole day. I didn't even realise how much I was coming to crave them. I mean, we all know that my parents were shit and I was lacking in basic affection. So Sasha filled the void with something warm and amazing.

"Lukas..." Sasha's tired voice filtered through my rambling and I looked over to see him rubbing his forehead.

"Oh, I'm sorry Sir. Do you have a headache? I could rub your forehead for you. Or should I get some medicine?" I started to get up from the couch.

"Lukas, one. Now." His voice was irritated and his eyes were closed. I bit my lips and got up into position. Dammit I knew I should keep my mouth shut but it just wanted to run away with me this week.

"I... Sir, should I get into four?" I felt tears prick my eyes and he looked up at me with resignation.

"Do you have a reason to get into four, Lukas?" He asked with a frown. I wanted to fidget.

"Uh... Maybe? I dunno... I feel like you are annoyed at me. Am I in trouble?" I saw his eyes flash irritation and I closed my mouth.

"Lukas, are you on drugs?" He asked me with a glare. I shook my head, no, with eyes wide.

"No way. No Sir. I haven't been doing those lately. Sir said no drugs so I..." I replied hastily.

"Lukas, enough!" He leaned forward and rubbed his forehead, exasperated. I was vibrating inside. I wanted to comfort him, or hold him. I didn't know what to do. I was so full of energy and I knew I was annoying him but I couldn't stop!

He looked up at me with a lost look. I gulped and tried not to shift around too much. I think he could practically sense my discomfort though. Maybe I just needed to go for a run or something.

"Ah, Sir? Maybe I should go exercise." I never thought those words would spill from my lips, but here we were. He looked at me wordlessly and then waved his hand. I ran up the stairs, changed into workout clothes, and then barreled out of the apartment.

The workout room only had a few machines, but I put them to good use. I went on the bicycle for half and hour, pedalling as fast as I could. Then I went on the treadmill for another half hour, switching between walking and running.

I was sweating so much it felt like I fell into a swimming pool. My heart raced and my breathing was erratic. I checked my heartrate on the way back up the elevator and it was soaring.

By the time I got back it had calmed back down. The apartment was quiet and most of the lights were off. I peeked into the kitchen and living room, but Sasha wasn't there. I went up the stairs with soft footsteps.

He was laid out on the bed, still wearing his work clothes. He didn't move when I came in, and I tip toed to the bathroom. I closed the door carefully behind me and got to work, stripping down and running the water.
