It was midday in January, when Azuchi's Tokugawa Ieyasu finished his work early. He went over to check on his girlfriend (?), Y/N.

[Still workin on dat label i see]

He had only wished at the end and start of each of his days to either wake up, or fall asleep in her arms.

Because until a certain incident happened, he never really realized how lonely he was without her near.

With that newfound sense of emotional neediness, he went back to his chambers to await her arrival.

Hour #1:

Condition: Normal
Mood: Normal
Energy Level: Low

Augh. Why did I even agree to wait for her again..? Hmph.. keeping me waiting like this.. not nice.. mean..

Ieyasu was just sitting at his desk, cross-legged, as he twirled his dry brush around in his fingers. He put his face on his hand as it lay on the desk.

Hour #2:

Condition: Restless
Mood: Not Good
Energy Level: High (Negativity)

Ieyasu started pacing around in his room. He had one of his hands on the hilt of his wakizashī. The other hand was around the front of his throat, lightly squeezing the sides when it felt uncomfortable.

(I actually do that. If its in public, then I do it around my wrist)

Why hasn't she come over..? You know what? Time to sleep. I gotta go get ready to sleep.. I can't deal with this.. I'm waay too tired..

He thought to himself. Or.. Maybe he was overthinking about it..? He decided against getting ready to sleep; it was only like, 4:35 anyway.

Ieyasu stopped his pacing and sat down.

Condition: Restless
Mood: Tired, Determined
Energy Level: Sad

She hasnt even said 'hi' to me today.. How unfortunate.. I wonder what's going on today..

Ieyasu was lost in his thoughts when Masamune just waltzed in his room.

Ieyasu snapped his head up to the sound, with a surprised expression on his face. When he saw the familiar eyepatch of the One-Eyed Dragon, he quickly composed himself and had a blank expression on his face.

"Hello, Masamune. What is it that you need? You rarely visit my room. Im busy. Go away.."

But Masamune only laughed it off.

"Oh, you mean that you're.. 'busy' looking for Y/N? Haha. You're way too easy to read, my friend." He said.

Ieyasu huffed quietly and looked away.

"Ieyasu, you really forgot what day it was, didn't you..?"

"E-eh..? Forgot?"

Masamune sighed. "Of course you would say that.."

"Then tell me. Tell me what day it is.. Friend."

"A very special day. A very good day. You always get so worked up over stuff that somehow you seem to forget that it's your birthday." Masamune reminded him, rolling his eyes at his friend's ignorance.
