Alyn Crawford{Personal Guardian} Part 1 [Midnight Cinderella]

Yeah, you read that right. Imma be doin' some Midnight Cinderella in this. Yup. Sorry to disappoint, you then- ahem.. Details.. Right!

This is an AU where you, A.K.A Y/N, are not the princess, but this time, the princess' personal guardian angel. She hasnt seen, heard, or met you, but her tutor, Giles, tells her that she has a "Guardian Angel", whose job is to protect the princess and/or prince if all other options fail.

Basically, you keep watch over the princess while people are around. No one has seen or met you, so the bad guys don't know who you are. Which is a good thing.

As the trees in the nearby forest rustle, there was a hidden figure in the darkness.

A shadowy figure who went by the code name of "Improbus Angelus", or 'Heartless Angel' as it is translated.

This figure walked around in the dark shadows of the towering trees.

Come nightfall, she will check up on her charge, the sleeping princess, undetected.

'Although..' she thought, '..I may be caught this time.. Security's too tight...'

Anxiety set in as she casually walked towards the big castle.

••Sometime near 8:30 PM••

"Princess, time for bed. You have a busy schedule ahead." Giles said.

Princess Aria nodded, as she got ready to sleep.

Y/N was watching, waiting for her to sleep, in a strong and sturdy nearby tree.

Once the lights were turned off and Y/N was sure the princess was asleep, due to calculations and countless observations, she made her move.

But she was too careless in that moment.

She was so careless that she didn't even realize that one of the knights, on patrol that night, saw her climbing out a tree to the window of her highness' chamber.

Y/N felt a tingling feeling in her stomach and she froze.

She knew she'd been caught.

Hastily, she opened the window quietly, as she had done countless times before after Aria had been chosen as princess.

Once she made it into the room, the guardian clad in shades of midnight blue and purple looked outside.

It was the captain of the royal guard, who went by the name of 'Alyn'.

She sighed softly as she stared at Aria's sleeping face.

Only moments later did her eyes flutter open and instantly widen when she saw Y/N.

Y/N panicked slightly.

But then she remembered that Aria hadn't seen her Guardian Angel before. Therefore, she had the right to panic.

She also remembered that she had her mask and hood on, so her identity was safe.

Y/N waved goodbye to Aria before getting out the same window she had used to get in.

And as quickly as she had come, she disappeared into the night.
