Betty lead him to the field of gold, her safe place and favourite place. She was about to show him and that made her feel vulnerable but she trusted him to not hurt her. She may have only known him a day but she felt she trusted him maybe even loved him.
    It's crazy that someone can fall in love so quickly but just like falling you can't help it, you just keep falling more and more into that hole of vulnerability. By being in love and saying those three words you give yourself completely to that person. Saying those three passionate words is giving you're heart to someone and saying 'Do what you want with it.' They could cherish it, they could throw it away or they could even break it, although you trust them to keep it safe and value it with their life because if they don't they're not getting it back. So if one is lucky enough to steal Betty Smith's heart they should cherish it and love it for there is no heart as kind as hers.
    She knew she was falling and she didn't want to stop although soon she'll wish she never fallen in love with the man who broke her heart.
