Betty enjoyed her first two lessons she had had maths, English (Her favourite) and her next was physics,which Betty hated. She sat down in the back as usual playing with her flower pen that was strawberry scented and had an actual strawberry flower on the end. Soon she felt a presence beside her, she turned her head and saw a stylish raven haired girl.
She took out her pencil case that was covered in pearls and she took out her pen which was black with a diamond crown on the top. Betty was fascinated by this pen it seemed very expensive. Why would someone spend so much on a pen?. She thought. Veronica just seemed like a snooty rich bitch at first glance she had the whole criteria.
Expensive clothes. Check!
Louis Vuitton bag. Check!
Resting bitch face. CHECK!
She was intimidated by the young woman, she just looked so beautiful she seemed like she had the world.
V-I'm Veronica Cecelia Lodge A.K.A you're new lab partner.
She announced holding out her perfectly moisturised and manicured hand, Betty hesitantly took it and shook her hand noticing just how smooth it was.
B-I'm Betty Smith.
She quietly said feeling sort of shy as she didn't talk to people that much . Veronica looked at the girl inspecting every defined feature on her face as well as her dress. She knew Betty was a very quirky girl and she was confused as to why Jughead would date someone so bright and happy. Veronica didn't want to tamper with their beautiful relationship, she just wanted to know how serious they were to know if she had a chance.
V-So are you going out with that raven haired boy?
Betty thought it was a bit odd that a person she just met was asking her about her relationship.
B-Uh you mean Jughead?
V-Thats his name?
Betty had never really thought about it considering she never really had time she had known him for a day. Betty knew it probably wasn't his real name but she was definitely going to try to find out.
B-No its a nickname.
Betty smiled.
V-So you and him?
B-Yes.
Betty giggled, feeling giddy at the thought of him.
V-How long?
B-Oh only a day but he said he's falling in love with me.
She smiled, Veronica scoffed causing Betty's smile to turn into a frown.
B-What? What is it?
V-Hate to brake it to you he doesn't love you Bee he's just saying that to get into your...
Betty felt anger boiling up inside her, he did like her she knew it with the way she looked at her she couldn't handle what Veronica was about to say.
B-Stop Veronica I dont want to hear it he likes me and I know it what is your deal?
She shouted not to loudly as she didn't want to everyone to hear what she is saying.
They stayed silent for the rest of the lesson. Betty didn't know much about this Veronica girl but she knows she doesn't like her.
