I was still sitting here in this damn hospital bed. Nurses and doctors in and out checking in on me. I didnt want to be here much longer.
I decided to call griff to see if he would come. I didnt want to see anyone else.
"Hey jay"his soft voice came through the phone. "Hey griff. Would you come to the hospital? Dont tell anyone thats where you're going especially jaden."i said. "Ill be there soon luv"he said. I ended the call and pressed the nurse button. I wanted a water. "How may i help you" a nurse walked in. "Can i get a water please. My throats dry."i said. She left. I havent ate either ill just text griff and tell him to get me burger king.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by griffin walking in with my food. "God you look pale. Have you ate anything?" He said. "No thats why i wanted food"I chuckled. A doctor came in.
"I have some bad news so if you dont want him to hear you can tell him to step out"the doctor said referring to griffin. "No hes fine but what is it?" I said. "Seeing your hospital records and digging into some things most of the time you have been to the hospitalir doctor was because of cutting yourself. We have set a plan for you to go to California and be in a facility for a few months."he said. I started to tear up. "How many months exactly?"griffin asked. His eyes were glossed over. "4 months" the doctor said. I pulled griffin close and hugged him. "You're tonna go home and pack a few things but we are gonna give you a credit card so you can buy clothes while you're there. Its just gonna feel like youve moved to California for a couple months and then you move back to Kentucky." The doctor said then left the room.
I was crying in griffins arms. He was trying not to let a tear fall but when the first one did he let all of them out. "Im gonna miss you"he sobbed. "Hey hey if they think thats what i need to be happy then i need you to b-be happy too. Is j-ja-" he cut me off. "No hes not happy. But ill be sure to make him for you." "Can you take me to my house?"i said. "Yeah"

"JAYLEN where have you been i was worried sick" my aunt scolded. I explained everything to her that happened in the past week and what was going on now and she pulled me into a hug. "Im so sorry i wasnt here"she said. I left up to my room to pack. I looked in my closet and saw a box i didn't recognize. I couldnt reach it so i yelled for griffin. "GRIFF COME HERE PLEASE" i yelled. I hear footsteps running up the stairs. "Is everything okay?!"he said bustingg through the door. "Yeah can you grab this box?" I chuckled "you had me worried but yeah"he said with his hand over his chest.
I put the box on my bed and opened it. I saw a bunch of baby pictures of me and my dad. I started to tear up. "Whats wrong?" Griffin asked "thats me and my dad. He's currently in jail for murdering my mom. We had such a good bond we were a happy family and then he started coming home late from work drunk and abusing me and my mom. We grabbed all the stuf but before we left he handed me his hoodie. "You forgot to cover up the hickeys. We can just tell them you were cold." He said. My cheeks got red.
We went back to the living room and my aunt started making sandwiches for everyone who wanted one. "Hey guys youre probably wondering why you're here i just need you to listen and please don't complain until im done." Oh god i was nervous. I sat on griffins lap and he hugged me. I saw jadens jaw clench. Yeah he was here too. He needed to know also. I was worried on what everyone's reactions where gonna be but
