GRIFFINS POV
we pulled into the hospital. before i could even park jaden opened the door and jumped out sprinting to the hospital.
JADENS POV
i jumped out of the car and ran to the front doors. i went to the desk and asked if jaylen was here yet.
she was but she was in surgery. apparently the steering wheel came off and gashed her head along with glass in her stomach. she was losing alot of blood. i went and sat down and put my head in my hands. all i could is that this is my fault. i shouldnt have yelled. but at the same time she shouldn't of gotten on the road intoxicated.
time skip
"jaylen roberts" the doctor said. me and everyone else stood up. they came as soon as they heard. "okay shes still sleeping and i need 1 at a time" everyone looked at me but i just sat back down. i couldnt see her like that. i caused this. eventually everyone decided that bryce goes. i swear if anyone here was her brother it'd be bryce. after he came back noah went. they weren't that close but they had a bond. after noah josh went. if i wasnt there and she needed snuggles he was the one shed go to. then after him ethan went. he went through most of this with her. then grayson. he woukd be like a dad to her even tho they are almost the same age.
then it was griffins turn. i dont about him. they just clicked whenever they met. i mean if she wanted she could forget about me and go for him anytime. they are best friends. if she needed a hug and was across the country he'd be there in a flash. ive always thought shed cheat on me with him. but i dont think she would.
about an hour later griffin came back. it was my turn. although i didnt wanna see her in this condition i had to. i caused this and i need to be there for her. even if she doesnt want me to be. i got up and walked down the hall. i looked through her window. there she was. asleep. she had stitches but that didn't stop her from being beautiful. its gonna make a cool scar. i walked over and opened the door. the room smelled like her perfume. i grabbed a chair and pulled it over to the right side of the bed.
i grabbed her hand and kissed her knuckles softly. i took a minute to look at her face. my eyes brimming with tears. i layed my head down on her hand for a second then raised it back up. "im sorry. i caused this. i love you so much and if i would've thought this would be the outcome of my rage i would've wanted it to happen to me. you're more than a guy could ever ask for. ive put you through a world of hurt. please wake up baby. i cant do this without you. i love you"i said. i put my head back down and cried. i couldn't hold it in.
i felt a hand massage my scalp. "i love you too jade" she said. i looked up. i grabbed her chin and kissed her. it was so passionate. "i promise its love not lust. ill go get a doctor okay. i love you more than words."i said and kissed her again. this one was a few seconds longer. we pulled away and smiled. i wrnt out and got a doctor and told him shed woke up and went back to the waiting room with the biggest grin on my face. "she woke up. it was an act of love"i whispered to griffin. he grabbed me and pulled me close. "it really was."he said.
