It was scorching hot, to say the least. Most of the Granger family was already in front of the hotel. Why are they in front of it and not inside it, you may ask. Well let's do a little recap, shall we?

Ah yes, here we are. Finally, after being trapped in that metal box for what seemed like hours and transported on another metal death trap, we're here.

"-do you mean we don't have access to the keys? We're the ones who booked for this goddamned reunion?"

Oh dear God, that sounds like my eldest brother-in-law. What sort of problem is it going to be this time?

I hurriedly walked towards him and placed my hand on his shoulder. He looked over his shoulders ready to shout at me, but then a look of recognization passed over his face.

"Really, Shayla? Even though you're my favourite family member doesn't mean you can just give me a heart attack." He said to me, then muttered a faint bloody hell under his breath.

Shaking my head a little at him, I then turned towards the receptionist and calmly asked, "I'm sorry, was there a problem with the reservations?"

The receptionist was a pretty girl with blonde hair and looked absolutely flustered with her face and neck colored red, when she heard my voice she seemed shocked as if she was expecting another scolding. Poor girl.  After awhile of staring at each other, she came back to life and quickly explained the situation.

"Yes, actually Ma'am. The reservations were changed a few days ago. It now has an order to give to a specific person."

I sighed. I really can't get a break anywhere, can I?

"Ok, who does it say to give it to?" I asked. The receptionist tapped a few keys on the keyboard, presumably to find who this mystery person is. After maybe 10 minutes, it seems like she has found what she has been looking for, but what she did when she stopped was unexpected.

She chuckled a bit and muttered something about a ferret? Well it's official I think I've gone mad from the stress.

A bit tired from waiting I said "Well?" in a stern voice. The girl snapped out of whatever she was thinking of and remembered that there were people waiting for her to explain.

"Ah yes, um as it turns out, Ma'am. The person's name was not left behind for a reference,". Before I can say anything she started talking again, "Yes, what was left behind was a photograph."

She finished with a genuine smile and a far off look. Like she was nostalgic over something. Seriously.

"Why were you laughing then?" I squinted my eyes at her, trying to see if she would lie again.

"Oh a co-worker just sent me something through text," She quickly answered.

Shayla nodded, though not fully believing that story. And how right she was, because moments later another person entered the lobby from the employee's room. Now you might be thinking what's so special about an employee? Well with Shayla, you know she will never  have pointed out an employee, well what was so different about this one person?

First of all, Shayla wasn't even looking in that direction, but the person's outfit was so beautiful and seemed to shine under the chandelier that she couldn't have helped noticing it. Second, when she did finally turn to see the person, she realized that the person was a woman. A stunning one at that, she had a pale face with cheekbones that seemed so sharp they could puncture the hull of a battleship. Her hair was exquisite she had two-toned hair, a mix of bleach blonde and black, the contrast bringing out her features. This gorgeous woman was wearing a somewhat green vintage dress that Shayla could only wish to pull off, yet the person made it look so glamorous and beautiful.

"Pardon me?" Shayla quickly looked up, surprised that the woman was directly in front of her. She frantically nodded.  The woman smiled, "Oh where are my manners. My name is Narcissa Black and you are?"

She didn't notice me staring, did she? Oh that would be embarassing.

"Shayla, Shayla Granger. Pleasure to meet you, Ms. Black."

Narcissa smirked.

Phase one has been initiated.
