Actually, no. That's not the question here. The real question is why is Percy so sadistic?
I know the rebels think we're the "bad guys", but I think Percy only joined them to torture people. Speaking of which, how are we the bad guys? We've done nothing but good!

"I was never on your team."

"I'm not on their team either."
So..who was this freak? If he wasn't a rebel. And he wasn't a hero. Why was even in this place?
"Why are you with these guys?"
"Why are YOU with these guys?"
What was he on about?
"Because Your little group kidnapped me!"
"Why?"
"Because your the bad guys!" Duh.
"Why?"
"Because..Because you hate the Olympians!"
"Why?"
What was this conversation?
"Because..."
"What do I say? It's obvious that the Olympians are the good guys. The rebels are the bad guys. That's just how it is."
"Alright. But before I leave, tell me...do you think they'll try to rescue you?"
"I-I mean..I hope so?"
"Well, let's change that."
He opened the cage I was in.
"Are you letting me go?"
"No. I'm giving you something you could never have before"
"And what's that?"
"Real Friends."
He grabbed my arm and in a second, we were in a hall. One with the leader of the rebellion staring at us. Along with his three generals.
