Its been 4 months since Bens death and Izuku hasn't been the same since he still blames himself for everything that happened. The funeral happened 3 months ago and he visits his grave everyday.
Flashback
Today was the day of the funeral as Izuku helps May out of the car. Only a few people came to the funeral it was Izuku, May, Bakugo family and the Yaoyorozu's. Izuku knew Mitsuki was friends with Inko and May so it wasn't surprising. As the funeral ends Izuku looks at the grave one more time

Izuku felt something on his shoulder as he turned to see Katsumi "hey Midorya...i-I'm sorry about your uncle and i'm sorry i've been hard on you I hope to see you at UA" Katsumi said as she walked away. Momo watched Katsumi talk to Izuku and walk off as she walked over to Izuku "hey Izuku, i'm sorry about Ben he was a great man" "its my fault" Izuku said as Momo looked surprised "what how is this your fault" "the night he died...the criminal she stole some money I-i let her go I didn't even try to stop her" Izuku said looking down as Momo hugged him "don't be like that everyone makes mistakes but you couldn't have known this would happen so don't blame yourself" she said as Izuku smiled "thanks" he said as Momo left leaving him alone at the grave.

Izuku looks up as he opens the door to see Aunt May "hey Izuku the UA exams are tomorrow" she said as Izuku looked down "I don't know if I can do it" Izuku said as Aunt may looked at him "at least try please...if not for your friends do it for Ben" she said as she walked off. Izuku closed the door and sat onto his bed "she's right I need to focus on UA right now...ok lets do this" Izuku thought as he got his stuff and began to do last minute study before going to bed.

Izuku was in front of UA as he began to walk through the gates as he accidentally tripped as he used his hands to flip "oh I was going to stop you with my quirk guess I didn't have to" Izuku looked to his left to see a brunette girl
