Chapter 115: Mitsuo Vs. Kuroki and Toshihiro

Kuroki's pov

"Kuro, stop!" As soon as I felt Renji's reiatsu shift, I tried to run towards the fight but I was quickly stopped by Toshihiro. I could sense that Renji, Ichigo and the twins were in serious trouble at the moment. "No, I'm going and you can't keep me here!!" I shouted, wriggling around in his grip. "Kuro, please. You have to stop, Ichigo wanted you to stay here. Please, just calm down." I continued to wiggle around, until I managed to use Yuki's ice against him. Toshihiro hissed from the coldness and dropped me, causing me to land on my butt. I popped right back on my feet, dusting myself off as I stood in front of him. He ran a hand through his brown hair, which is something he did when I would argue with him. It signaled that he didn't want to argue with me, "Kuro.. I'm not going to argue with you anymore. Instead of just running off on your own, how about I come with you?" I was a bit taken back by his sudden offer, but at the same time I kind of expected him to stop arguing with me. "Alright, fine. Rui, Chad. You guys stay here. Toshihiro and I will go look for Ichigo, Renji and the twins." Chad nodded, as Rui gave me a small smile. "Be careful out there, you two." I nodded at Rukia's words, before looking to Toshihiro who gave me a small smile. With that, Toshihiro and I left before anything could stop us from doing so. In a way, I felt bad for leaving them but at the same time, I knew that they could handle themselves if they got into trouble. "Kuro, are you alright?" Toshihiro's sudden question brought me out of my thoughts. "Yeah, I'm just worried about Renji, Ichigo and the twins. I just have a really bad feeling that they ran into trouble." I said, looking ahead of us.

"They'll be okay. The twins have each other's back and if they all got separated, they can handle whatever is thrown at them." Toshihiro looked over to me, "You're right about that. But I just can't help but worry for them, I can feel that Ichigo is in trouble." I  looked over at Toshihiro, who must have realized that I was right. "I know... I'm just hoping that they are okay. Hopefully none of them have run into Kariya yet." Just as he said that, I felt Ichigo's reiatsu spike. "Oh no," I looked to Mari, who was sitting on my shoulder. "What's the matter, Mari?" Toshihiro asked, becoming concerned. "Ichigo's fighting Kariya... I can hear it." I looked to Toshihiro a but panicked, because I had no idea how Kariya fought. Ichigo was really the only one of the two of us to fight Kariya, so I had no clue what to expect.

"We need to go find him." I said, stopping in my tracks. Just as I was looking around, I felt Rukia and Rui's spiritual pressure spike and I looked back from where we ran. "They're in trouble. I can feel Rui and Rukia's reiatsu and it's spiking. This is not good." Toshihiro spoke up, looking back as well.

"I think we should head back to Rukia and the others.. I have a bad feeling about this, you two."

"No, listen to me... Rukia has both Chad and Rui, Orihime and Rangiku are there as well. I know that they can handle this themselves. I'm worried about them too, but Rui can handle whatever gets thrown at him." I shook my head at Toshihiro's suggestion, I knew that he was right.

"You should listen to your friend, you know. You never know what could happen to them." My eyes shifted from Toshihiro to the front of us, where a figure closed in on our position. I could tell from the silhouette who it was and I grew pissed off, "Toshihiro, catch." I quickly plucked Mari off my shoulder, "Wait, Kuro. What are you doing?" Mari panicked as I got ready to throw her and without saying anything, I threw her at Toshihiro who caught her. Kind of reminded me of what Ichigo did to Rukia and I, when we went to save her. "Stand back." Toshihiro gave me shocked look before wiping it off of his face, he took several steps back as I put a hand on Yuki's sheath.

"Honestly, Kuro.. I thought you would be smarter than this."

My anger only grew as Mitsuo came into the light, I hated his guts and he knew that. I didn't say anything as he suddenly charged at me, but I quickly unsheathed Yuki and blocked Mitsuo's sword. The odd thing about his sword was that he hadn't used it before, in our previous battles, he always used his hands or his doll. The collision of our swords caused a large shockwave which shook the cave, "Get out of my way, you asshole. If Ichigo is fighting Kariya, I need to be there helping him." I snapped, glaring harshly at him. He only gave me a smirk, which further irritated me. I pushed harder on his sword, making him fly back a bit. He kept his feet on the ground, as I took a defensive stance and then he charged at me again. I shunpooed away from him, appearing behind him. I swiftly kicked him in the back, making him stumble forward as he was caught off guard. I put Yuki in his sheath, which caught Mari and Toshihiro off guard. "Kuro, what are you doing?!!" Mari questioned, "Kuro, whatever your planning is not a good idea." Yuki said, I could tell he sounded a bit worried. "I'll be fine, Yuki." I reassured him, before turning my attention on Mitsuo.

"So, you want a fist fight, huh?"

"Actually, I had something else in mind." I smirked at him, I quickly threw off my shihaksho, which panicked Toshihiro. But he stopped once he realized that I was wearing something underneath my shihaksho, which was lighter and more breathable.

"No way!!"

"Yoruichi gave me this outfit a while back, I never wore it because I didn't want to have to pull out all my tricks but seeing as you won't leave us alone.. I guess, I have to now." The outfit I wore was similar to Yoruichi's but instead of having orange, most of my outfit was black. I had on black leggings, short brown boots and a short sleeved beige top. I stood firm, keeping Yuki's sheath around my waist.

"You're not the only one with a trump card Mitsuo."

"Heh, you think you can beat me in a fist fight?" He smirked, somewhat amused but I could see that he was a bit cautious with this new power I was showing. "I know I can." I said sternly, not bothering to take my eyes off of him.
