Chapter 94: Water Attack! Escape from the shutdown hospital

Ichigo's pov

We all decided to guard Uryu's hospital room, Kuroki had fallen asleep on the small chair across from us. "She must be really tired. Has she gotten any sleep these past few days?" Rukia looked at me, "No, she hasn't. She's been staying up so late, that she would fall asleep at the table for breakfast. But I'm not sure why she does it." I shook my head and looked back down at the table, "Well, just hope that those two don't wake her up." Uryu pointed his thumb back to Ishihara, the twins and Toshihiro playing a game of something. I wasn't paying to much attention and got up to go talk to Uryu some more, "Oww!!!" A smack echoed throughout the room and I look behind the curtain, seeing Ishihara holding the back of his head with tears at the corners of his eyes and Toshihiro had his eyes closed and his fists clenched. "Will you two not make any noise?! Kuro is sleeping and if you wake her up, she'll cause hell for everyone!" Rukia scolded them, but she wasn't being too loud.

"We aren't being loud, that's just Ishihara and his stupidity." Yukio crossed his arms and took a seat at the table they were sitting at and I turned back around. "Thank you, Ichigo." Rukia said suddenly, which confused me. "Thank me for what?" I shifted my eyes to her, but she didn't say which only led me to start arguing with her. Kuroki suddenly yelled out, stopping both Rukia and I as we looked at her. "Kuro, are you alright?" Chad looked to her as she was breathing hard, she must have had a nightmare.

"Yeah, yeah... I'm fine. I'm fine." She sat up completely but I could see she had been sweating, so I threw her a towel. For a few moments it became quiet but the faucet was dripping water, Kuroki took a seat next to me at the table. "Did you have a nightmare?" I shifted my brown eyes to her green ones, "Yeah. It's fine. I'm fine." I heard Rukia growl in annoyance and storm over to the sink, turning the knob. "You bakas!!" Kuroki chuckled, as Toshihiro smacked both Ishihara and Yukio on the held while Rei tried to keep his composure. "What did those two idiots do now?" Uryu asked, making Kuroki laugh a bit harder. "Rukia? What's up with the faucet?" Uryu turned our attention back to Rukia, as Kuroki got up to check out the faucet. "It won't dripping water and I can't seem to turn it off." I sighed getting up from the table and rushed over to help. I put my hand over hers and tried to turn it but it wouldn't budge and then it broke, the dripping turned into full blown pouring. "What the hell?" I scrunched my eyebrows in annoyance and confusion, as the water filled up the sink.

"Guys, it's gonna flood. We need buckets." Rukia looked to Rei and Yukio as Ririn rushed off to get Orihime and Renji, who came back in with water buckets but something didn't feel right. "Ah! Why is there more water?!" My eyes shifted to Rei, Yukio and Toshihiro standing on top of their table while Ishihara was in Toshihiro's arm. Toshihiro looked so fed up with him, but when I looked down there was a bunch of water on the floor which concerned me. "Where is all this water coming from?" Orihime asked, as more came from under the door. "It must be coming from the other rooms in the hospital. We need to go." Kuroki went to open the door and I turned back to the faucet seeing the water take a form of two separate balls of water with a water cap in the middle, Kuroki turned to me as I moved Rukia out of the way and the water went for Uryu. I couldn't believe something like this was happening, I pulled out Zangetsu and sliced through the water grabbing Rukia's hand.

Toshihiro, Rei and Yukio jumped off of the table as Kuroki opened the door, Chad grabbed onto Uryu and we rushed out of the room but I could hear the water coming after us. Rukia was right in front of me while Uryu and Chad were in the back, Kuroki was to my left next to Toshihiro, who was still carrying Ishihara for some odd reason. "Chad!!! Uryu!!" My head swiftly turned as I stopped running seeing the chaos behind me as the water tried to drown both Chad and Uryu, which put Kuroki and the others in a panic. "What the hell is going on around here?!!" I sliced at the water but it didn't help, it was like my slashes had become ineffective which worried me. So Rukia used a kido blast to get rid of the water, but this only sets off the fire alarm.

I knew this only made matters worse and out of the corner of my eye, I could see that nurses were evacuating patients down the stairs. "We need to get out of here now! And I mean now! There's something here that is targeting Uryu we need to go." Kuroki stated, as we tried to find a way out of the hospital. We rushed down the hallway only to be stopped by two kids, but it was weird that were still here. "What are you two doing in here still? They evacuated all of the patients." Orihime stepped forward but something seemed off as they both opened the water bottles, which made me a bit nervous.

"Wait, Orihime stop!" The two boys called on their dolls and attacked us, but I couldn't think of how to get us out of this mess.

"We need to go!!" I grabbed Kuroki and threw her over my shoulder and took off, with everyone following after me. We found an elevator but when it got to our floor water rushed out of the elevator shaft, making me back up as Rukia and Renji use kido to evaporate it but it doesn't work. "Damnit, where is this water coming from? There's no way all this water is coming from those two boys." Toshihiro shook his head as I spotted a lighter so I put Kuroki down and grabbed the lighter and saw an oxygen tank. I got the idea of putting them together which evaporated all of the water, "Alright... Everyone Renji and I will hold off the dolls while you guys escape." I looked to Renji, who nodded as I shifted my eyes back to everyone else.

"There's no way, I'm leaving you two to deal with it on your own. I'm helping whether you like it or not, Ichigo." I shook my head in protest, "Ichigo, we don't have time for this. If she wants to help let her help." Rei stated and I sighed. Everyone loads onto the elevator, while we hold off the dolls. "Okay, let's go!" Kuroki jumps down first and then Renji and then me last as we made it to the others.

"Oh Kuro, I was so worried." I saw my sister get irritated with him but we had no time for that, he was still holding her tightly which pissed her off. But when we got outside my heart stopped, "No, this can't be happening." Kuroki shook her head as I looked up at the sky, rain drops fell hitting my face lightly and I looked at Kuroki and Rukia. It was raining meaning that we had no way of escaping this, which meant we needed to fight those two boys.
