Chapter 91: Bount! The one who hunts souls!

Kuroki's pov

We were all currently sitting in Urahara's shop around his coffee table, talking about the current situation. I had already tried to get my hands on Kisuke for what he put us through but Rei, who showed up later with Yukio grabbed a hold of me. They had to tie me to a chair to keep me from killing Kisuke altogether, "The reiatsu you gathered was probably from a bount. The one that probably attacked Kuro was a bount wanting to take her soul." Kisuke explained to us, as I wiggled in the chair.

"But what do they exactly do?" Ichigo questioned him more, as I struggled to get free of the binds. "I first learned about the bounts, when I was captain of the twelfth division. They are a group of beings just like the Quincy, but they are able to eat and absorb human souls. But in doing so they can live forever." He explained as I wiggled more, but nobody seemed to notice how much I was moving around. "They normally consume the souls of the dead, but recently they've been trying to consume a living soul which could effectively cause the death of a human." Yoruichi finally spoke up from her spot across from us nowhere near Kisuke. Kisuke turned to Yoruichi and tried to hug her but she kicked him in the face making Yukio crack up as I finally got free of the binds, which caught Renji's attention.

"Uhhhh, Kuro.... Before you do anything that you'll regret, let Kisuke finish explaining." Renji pleaded, as I sighed and put my fists at my side. "Out of concern for you all since, you all have such strong souls. I will be assigning you each a mod-soul." When they came out I growled loudly, "Ririn." She looked over at me with a smile, as I grew a bit irritated. "Ririn, you will be with Ichigo and Kuro. Noba, you'll stay with Chad and Orihime will have Kurodo." My eyes widened when I realized that Ririn will have to be with us, meaning she'll create a living hell.

"Why are giving us her?!! Her of all people?!!" I pointed to Ririn, who also wasn't that happy about it either. "She's the best fit. Why do you have such a problem with it?" Kisuke said, making an eyebrow twitch. "KISUKE, YOU IDIOT!" I lunged for him, but Ichigo caught me by the waist and threw me over his shoulder. "Wait for me..." Mari cried out, as Ichigo hauled me away from Urahara's shop.

When we made it home, dad attacked me in a bear hug. "My princess is home safe and sound!!! Thank goodness!!" I groaned, slumping down a bit as he hugged me tightly. "Will you get off of me?!" I tried to push him off of me, but he didn't budge. "Dad, let go of Kuro. I'm pretty sure she's had a long day and she probably wants to head upstairs and rest. So Dad, please let her go." Yuzu had this sweet smile on her face, which scared the crap out of Dad. When Yuzu usually smiled liked that, she usually scared the crap out of us. Dad turned pale white and put me down slowly, "Thanks Yuzu, I appreciate your help!" I grabbed my backpack, gave Yuzu a small hug and Karin a kiss on the forehead and rushed upstairs.

I heard yelling coming from the room and walked in, to see Ichigo throwing stuffed animals around and dodged one that was thrown at me.

"Ichigo, what are you doing to my stuffed animals?" I put a hand on my hip, as he turned his head to look at me.

"Looking for a stuffed animal, she can be in for the time being." I raised an eyebrow, catching the stuffed animal that was thrown. "Why are you using mine? Use Yuzu's stuffed animals. The only one who can use my stuffed animals is Mari, although she is absolutely crazy." I balled up my fist, "Hey! I find that very offensive!" I threw the stuffed animal at Mari, as Ririn started fussing. "How about this?" He held up an ugly looking duck stuffed animal that belonged to Yuzu, when she was younger.

"That thing is ugly!! I'm not getting in that thing!!" Ichigo groaned in annoyance, as she had already turned down all of his choices. "Damnit, just pick one already!!" I yelled at her, I had been sitting on my bed for past twenty minutes. Ichigo threw the stuffed animal at her and she moved out of the way, but stepped on Ichigo's soul reaper combat pass and her pill popped out and flew into the ugly doll's mouth and we sat there in silence. I looked at Ichigo as he looked up at me, before both Mari and Kon busted out laughing.

"That's what you get. It must be karma for acting all high and mighty." Kon stood next to Mari, who was standing near my bed. "Yeah, I'm not sure why you think your so high and mighty. The only person who can boss around Ichigo and Kuro is us." I hit them both over the back of the head with my foot and Ririn kicked Kon out. "Idiot," Mari rubbed her head, as I crossed my arms. "Ririn... You shouldn't act all high and mighty. These two have been here longer than you have. So that means they have seniority over you." I smirked, as she grew upset and crossed her arms.

"So how is Renji?" Ichigo sat on my bed as I laid down, "What do you mean by that Ichigo?" I turned my head to him, as Mari climbed up onto his shoulder. "I mean as your bo-bo-" I held up a hand, "He's good. He's very sweet." Ririn suddenly shot up from her spot, "What is it Ririn?" Mari questioned as she sat on Ichigo's shoulder. "I sense a bount." We both got up and quickly left the house in our soul reaper forms.

"Look!" I pointed at the end of an alleyway, as Mari held on tightly to me as I was running. We came to a full stop, when we saw the bount trying to devour a woman. "Hey!!" I yelled out, I noticed that this bount was a woman. Ichigo tries to make the first move, but the bount throws the woman at him. "Take care of her!!" I left the woman in Mari's care, as I started running with Ichigo right behind me. "Get back here!" We chased her down the alleyways and finally cornered her. "We got you cornered. There's nowhere for you to run." I pulled Yuki out slowly, as she growled before speaking.

"Come Goethe," She said and suddenly a giant burst of fire appears in front of her. My eyes widened and I took a step back as it swings its hand towards us, Ichigo acts quickly grabbing me and dodging it making me snap out of it. "Ha!!! Ahhhhh!" I swung my sword down on the arm cutting it off successfully, as we landed back on the ground. "Nice cut." Ichigo nodded at me as I smirked and then turned my head back to Goethe and the lady bount behind him. But just when we thought we got him, Goethe reattaches his arm, making us both a bit nervous.

"Damnit!" I panted, as I landed on my feet. "What the hell is this thing?" Ichigo landed next to me, panting hard as well. We had been slashing at Goethe but each time we cut him, he somehow managed to regenerate himself making us irritated. "Can you stop regenerating!!!?" I slashed down landing next to Ichigo but he just regenerated, making me even more agitated. An irk mark appeared on my forehead, as I bawled up my fist that was wrapped around Yuki's handle. "You both need to stay calm and finds it weakness together." Ririn was still on Ichigo's shoulder. We looked at each other and nodded, "It's the heart." Ichigo yelled to me, "Alright... 1.... 2..... 3....." I counted down as Ichigo and I attacked Goethe together, aiming at the heart. Goethe disintegrates in front of us and we both high-five each other, happy with the result.

"Hm," The lady bount smirked as we turned back to her, "What the hell are you smirking about?" I growled, as the wind suddenly picked up and Goethe appears before us with no scratches. "How in the hell?" I got into an defensive stance, but Goethe attacked us. "Get out if the way!!" Ichigo grabs onto me as we are blasted into a nearby building, debris fell on top of us. When I opened my eyes, Ichigo was just waking up but then I spotted something coming towards us.

"Ichigo!! Ichigo!! There's  something coming towards us." I started freaking out, since I couldn't move. "What is that?" Ichigo looked back and his eyes widened, he threw himself back over me and we both closed our eyes waiting for it to hit us. But nothing does and we both look to see a lightning bolt hit the fire balls and then a familiar face, as my eyes grew bigger as she stood there. She gave us a small smirk, as she wore the pretty blue dress that Uryu had made for her.

"Rukia?" Ichigo asked.
