'Is it just me, or does any man in a prince costume look like 10X hotter than normal?' Oli sighed, eyes glued to the tv screen.

'I think most would agree Chris Pine is hot no matter what he's wearing. Actually the lack of clothes the better.' Ella giggled.

The into the woods auditions were in a few days so Oli had invited himself and Ella over to my house so we could prepare and study the film version. I still hadn't decided yet if I was going to audition or not, but either way I was not going to miss out on seeing Chris Pine's beautiful face. That would be foolish.

'Who do you think is going to audition for Prince Charming?' Oli asked

'Dylan said he might.' Both Dylan and Luke have no choice but to audition as it was part of their first year music A-level curriculum, plus the school didn't exactly have an abundance of boys that could sing.
'Right now he's leaning more towards Rapunzel's Prince. It appeals because it would mean he'd only have a few lines and get to spend the rest of his scenes making out with, as he put it, some hot chick.'

Ella rolled her eyes.
'God that boy. When is he not controlled by his dick.'

'When his stomach takes over.' I said making Ella and I start giggling.

'You two shhh.' Oli hushed us, his eyes not straying from the screen. 'My favourite song is about to start.'

On cue Anna Kendrick started singing Cinderella's solo and which promoted all three of us to start singing our little lungs out.

'I want to be Cinderella.' Oli grumbled when the sing ended.

'You know we're all for you going out and getting what you want babe, but I think your 6ft frame would struggle to get into a little dress and heels. You'd look like the hulk.' I burst out laughing at the idea.

Ignoring my dig Oli instead inhaled sharply, his eyes shining with excitement at whatever thought had just entered his head.
'You should go for the part Vi.'

'Puhlease..if I do audition I'll go for a small part.' I said shooting the idea down before he could get too ahead of himself. 'Plus I haven't got the right hair colour.'

'Neither does Anna Kendrick.' Ella shot back. 'Honestly, if you're not careful you're going to waste that beautiful voice of yours.'

'Don't see it that way. See it as me saving myself from having to spend most of my free time with some drama nerd because let's be honest, I would not get lucky enough to be paired with a Prince Charming a hot as Chris Pine. They'd definitely be a pain in the ass.'

Although they badgered me constantly for the next couple of days, I stuck to my guns and by the time we were entering the auditorium where the auditions were taking place my besties had dropped the idea.

Most seats were packed with wannabe actors, which wasn't all too surprising when word spread that the boys would be here. They were like a beacon to fan girls, and where the fan girls went the rest of the boys in our school followed, hoping to swoop in and collect up the desperate heartbroken girls.

Honestly it made me gag.

Of course not all of the boys were here. Dylan and Luke had to be but the other two did not. Jacob was quick to make up some stupid excuse when Mrs Monroe asked him to audition, something about helping out an elderly relative that didn't exist, although I knew he was at home right now playing his PlayStation.

What surprised me most was that Zac hadn't run for the hills. He was in one corner of the auditorium, a complicated looking soundboard laid out on a table in front of him that he would fiddle around with occasionally when he heard a cue from the auditionees relaying script on stage.
