Adam's Wrath

Tanu was doing his laundry and was oddly satisfied to be doing something as mundane as chores for once. Adam entered the laundry room in silence and threw a hamper full of dirty clothes onto the floor in front of Tanu before attempting to leave. Tanu suddenly stopped him.

"Hey. I am not doing your laundry. You better do it yourself," muttered Tanu.

Adam scoffed in anger before sorting out his wash by himself. "Psh. Fine then," he grumbled.

Tanu had noticed over the last few weeks that Adam had been increasingly distant with him and wondered what it was all about so decided to ask him about it. However, he would later regret bringing it up.

"Did you receive the admission paperwork yet?" he asked curiously.

"Yeah," Adam muttered as he stuffed his load into the washing machine.

"And? Are you ready for it? I'm planning on going to Arizona--"

"Don't care," sighed Adam in disinterest.

Tanu suddenly stopped folding his clothes and stared at Adam.

"What the hell is up your ass, huh? You've been avoiding me like the plague lately," he grumbled.

"Nothing. Why? Am I supposed to have a vendetta against you or something? In fact, do you think you might've done something to make me feel like this? Psh. Maybe it's guilt," muttered Adam.

Tanu scoffed and furrowed his brow in anger. "Tsk. What do you mean by all of that? What the hell should I be guilty about, huh?"

Tanu had a feeling but refused to think about it for fear Adam would catch on in his mind because unknown to Adam, Tanu had blocked all conversation between him and Marie over the last few weeks in order to get to know her. Tanu had no intention to fall so deeply in love with her. And then there was the matter of Michael and Tanu spiritually marrying Marie as well. But he was going to tackle that issue much later if Adam found out.

Adam surprised Tanu in that instant and shoved another heavy hamper against his chest with a painful thud.

"I know what you did, okay asshole? Do you really think you were gonna get away with it?!" he snapped angrily.

Tanu grew infuriated and shoved Adam. "I wasn't the one who used his own brother to get with her!"

Adam lost his temper at that moment and faced off with an aggravated Tanu.

"Just have your fucking fun and bounce, okay lover boy? She's mine. And always will be," he gritted.

Tanu's temper was at an all-time high and suddenly punched Adam in the face before they scuffled against each other, trading blows.

"SHE'S PREGNANT, YOU UFA! SO, YOU CAN FORGET ABOUT ME LEAVING HER!" yelled Tanu.

"AW, HELL NAW NIGGAH! WHAT DID YOU DO?!" screamed Adam as he placed Tanu in a headlock. He had every intention in hurting Tanu immensely.

Suddenly, Tanu and Adam's mother rushed in and restrained both out of breath brothers. Ignoring her pleas for them to stop, Adam continued on.

"DOES SHE KNOW WHO YOU REALLY ARE?! OR DID YOU FEED HER WITH LIES LIKE YOU USUALLY DO TO ALL YOUR BITCHES, ASSHOLE?!"

"Stop! What is this about you two? And who's pregnant? Tanu? You better not have gotten that girl pregnant!" snapped their mother Tasi.

"SHE LOVES ME AND SHE ALWAYS LOVED ME, ADAM! YOU MADE SURE OF IT, YOU STUPID ASS FUCK!" bellowed Tanu as he attempted to fight Adam again but his mother had him pinned against her chest.

Suddenly with a pained groan, Tasi began channeling another source. And it was their grandfather Motu who was just in the next room. They were all bestowed the gift of telepathic abilities from Motu's bloodline and he was currently fuming at the moment.

"GET YOUR ASSES OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!" yelled Motu in Tasi's voice.

"Welp. You two better get to the front right now! Grandpa is pissed off and I hope he kicks your asses into gear too!" screamed Tasi as soon as she was herself once again.

With an angry grunt, the brothers both made their way to the living room. The lecture was never ending and so was the telepathic scolding to their dismay. After a few long moments, Motu relented and sighed in resignation.

"...and since you both cannot come to a reasonable explanation for why you are acting like a couple of dumbasses, I am hereby locking you out of your telepathic conversations--"

"No, please, Dad! Please don't do that! I can't live without her," pleaded a tearful Tanu.

"Don't do that, please. I'll work with this, I will. I promise," stated Adam somberly.

"Yeah, well. You better. I'm starting to doubt this woman who you both are falling in love with. She might not be all that I thought she was if all she's doing is breaking you two apart. YOU'RE FAMILY FOR GOD'S SAKES!" Motu snapped angrily.

Both brothers glanced down at the floor in shame and sniffed almost simultaneously.

"I'm gonna do some research on her with the Father and if she's anything like I think she is then it's over between you two and her. Do you hear me?" eyed out Motu.

"She didn't do anything, Dad! We pursued her, not the other way around!" reasoned Tanu.

"She was supposed to pair one of you with her older daughter and did she do that yet?" asked their grandpa Motu.

"No," answered Tanu. He was clearly lying because it was a fact Marie had tried to originally pair him with her daughter named Nicole, but he refused vehemently as he fell deeper in love with her.

Unknown to Tanu, their grandfather already knew about that and was concerned about it. But he resisted telling Tanu at the moment due to Divine security reasons.

"Again. If I find out she's evil, then it's over. Do you hear me?" he stated angrily.

"Yes, Dad," they sorrowfully replied.

Motu sighed resignedly and sent them off to their rooms to cool off. Before he got up to meditate, he made a plea to the Cosmos.

"Please give me strength to allow these two young souls the clarity to do what they were always meant to do. Afterall, I understand, Father. It's for their children...and our legacies. As always, God is good," he prayed silently before stifling a sob.

A stray tear fell from his eyes knowing that both his grandson's journeys were only just beginning.

Such were the ever loyal ways of the McSuttons. The Divine awakened mortals of the Cosmos.
