Danael was unfortunately going through what the Divine Archangelics called an Awakening. And it was bad. In fact, it was so bad, he was reverting back to his mortal identity named Kalama. Another unfortunate situation stemmed from that ordeal. Danael was keeping it secret from his brethren for fear Dicey would be taken away from him in all the confusion.
His memories of his Divine and mortal selves were bleeding into each other and was unaware that it was because of his recent acclimation with Dicey when the child bonded to his soul. But due to his never ending love and loyalty to Dicey, he was willing to do it all over again if it meant the child needed him to endure it in order to continue to be bonded to him.
"Daddy? Are you okay?" inquired Dicey as he busily put together Lego blocks. He was building a life-size replica of the historic Trojan horse and it was impressive.
"Uh...yeah, son. I'm okay. I just need to take a breather for a bit," sighed Danael as he clutched his heart before forcing a grin.
Dicey's gaze was contemplative and appeared to be mind scanning him before Danael clicked his tongue in disapproval.
"Tsk! Hey! What did I tell you about that?" he snapped.
"You said...don't. Right?" winked Dicey.
"Exactly. So, now. What else should I know about your mother, boy?" he asked clearly trying to change the subject before Dicey decided to mind scan him once again.
"I dunno. She's into past life relationships. What else do you wanna know, daddy?"
"What about Lucifer? How did they become a thing? And you still don't know a thing about her and I do you?" inquired Danael.
Dicey stopped what he was doing and stared at Danael with wide eyes and considered his next statement carefully. But all that came out was:
"Umm...That was a shitload of questions."
"Well? Come on! Help me out over here! I'm about to meet her and I'd like to at least know if we had a love connection in another lifetime. You seem to know quite a bit about your other fathers, even the ones who have yet to show themselves. And all you've got for me is we never met because I died in this lifetime," muttered Danael.
"I know!" piped up Dicey. "I have a theory and if you've got a minute--"
"Oh, Christ, kid. Are you gonna pull out the whiteboard and show me some complicated charts again?" grumbled Danael.
"Oh. Okay. So, no charts this time?" complained Dicey.
"No. This time, just give me straight facts, kid," advised Danael.
His heart was fluttering and chose to ignore it while he continued to speak with Dicey.
"Fine. I'm just gonna say it and I don't want you to take this the wrong way, okay? I love you like my daddy and you will always be. But I think Lily is your first daughter and you share her along with another Divine Archangelic by the name of Raphael. I was following the algorithms and--"
"Wait a minute, what? You're not my son?" snapped Danael.
"You are! But you may not be my first father. You're still my daddy and always be, remember?" sniffed Dicey before hugging Danael tight.
A feeling of strong emotion hit Danael and grinned warmly while hugging Dicey back affectionately.
"Okay, son. I understand. You'll always be my baby, okay? Aw, I love you so much! Mwah!" he smacked Dicey on the forehead lovingly.
Danael was familiar with the Divine concept of first and second fathers and was well aware that both roles were just as important as the next. He was just worried Dicey wouldn't understand that. And was glad he did in that instance.
"What do you think we should do in that case? And where is your sister at so we can bond as well?" he asked lovingly.
Dicey's eyes widened again to Danael's aggravation.
"Aw, shit. What now? Where is she, Dicey?" he muttered.
"Um...Can you ask me one question at a time because it's getting irritating," muttered Dicey.
"So? What's your input either way? I'm keeping my questions open so you can just answer in whatever order you want, son," stated Danael with a hint of irritation in his voice.
"I suggest we figure out who my first daddy is first. And I think he's with mommy already. Can you present yourself to them without their knowledge of me? I wanna be cloaked so I can make that decision without their influence," said Dicey decisively.
"Okay. I can do that. And what of Lily? Where is she?" inquired Danael cautiously.
Dicey sighed out in resignation before finishing his masterpiece with a subtle nod. Danael was vastly impressed by Dicey's Lego creation, but soon discovered Dicey was good at the art of distraction before Danael tore his eyes away from the spectacle.
"She's in Other realm. And Lorentis and her team are trying to extract her. Lily's in a dreamless state because she's awakening," advised Dicey with a cautious eye on Danael, careful for him not to lose his temper.
"Uh-huh," replied Danael as he tried failingly at being nonchalant about the damning information. "But why do I feel like you're not telling me everything, Dicey?"
Panic was rising but Danael forced himself to calm down for Dicey's sake because the child was quite impressionable and was often easily influenced by stray emotion.
"Oh. She's also being sold to the highest bidder--"
"WHAT?! Ahem. I meant, what did you mean by that, kid? Hehe...Sorry."
Dicey almost laughed out loud by Danael's unpredictable response. "Don't worry, daddy. Lorentis and her team have it in the bag. Daddy Lucifer trusts them with his life."
"Okay. Since THAT'S fucking taken care of and I HOPE it's being taken care of...you want me to also cloak you and present myself to mommy and her husbands while I court her with you bonded to me? While they don't know shit about you? Psh. Who makes up this stuff?"
"I do! It's a viable plan, daddy! And on top of that, I'll get to really find out who my first daddy is because I have no goddamn clue for some reason. Maybe he's cloaked, you think?" smiled Dicey.
"Don't know. But I'm suddenly getting the feeling the Mother and especially the Father are gonna Divinely spank this Archangelic for doing this...Well -sigh-...You can't say I don't do shit for you, kid. So, alright. I accept," he smiled warmly.
And so began Danael's twin of flames journey with Marie and her Divine husbands. Things were about to get epically confusing for them all. For unknown to Dicey and Danael, his first father was indeed with Marie all along.
And it was none other than Michael.
Such were the ever memory distorting ways of the Divine Archangelic Michael Agelu'oleatua. Divine escapee of the benevolent Anunnaki.
