Athena's Heavenly Charges

Athena continuously experienced the sensation of falling before she also sensed another thing. She was no longer in possession of a body to her shock. Her mind was in a constant flux of haziness while she appeared to be floating in a thick liquid-like substance as if she were being birthed by the Cosmos. Which in fact was actually happening at the moment. 

She could hear multiple voices whizzing past her in many languages and dialects. However, she was not afraid. She was just frustrated and a bit saddened to be leaving Tanu Boy in such a manner. As her thoughts went to her siblings, Athena wondered if she was ascending to the constellations much like Lucifer often explained to her in the past.

"-sniff- I'm gonna miss my mommy, Daddy Lucifer, and my siblings. Goodbye cruel world...Shit. I wonder if I had a heart attack or something," pouted Athena in an adorable manner before the sensation of falling dissipated. 

Before she knew it, she was surrounded by nothing but blackness. But the ever vigilant Athena continued to pose endless questions to the Cosmos. Unknown to her, the Cosmos was listening with a loving heart and granted her the ability to continue to speak telepathically with anyone who would listen to grant her respite. 

Such were the loving and understanding ways of the Cosmos aka Grandpa.

Athena: Ugh. What happened to my body, huh? I'm floating in the stratosphere like a fricking speck of dust around here. And where's here by the way? I'm so confused. I wish Tanu Boy and Dicey were here to answer some of my questions...Wait a minute. Am I still in Wonderland? UGH! If I am, I'm gonna be hella pissed off!

Voice: Hehe...She's cute. 

Other Voice: Yes she is. Very cute.

Athena: Uh-whuh? Ew. A-whoo are ya-hoo, huh? I'm a kid, dumbasses. Yuck. You pervs!

 -soft chuckling from numerous voices-

Athena: What the fuck. I said...WHO ARE YOU?! I'M TELLIN'! I AM TELLIN' MY MOMMY AND MY DADDY WHEN I FIGURE OUT WHERE THE HELL I'M AT!

Voice: Do not be frightened, child--

Athena: I AIN'T FRIGHTENED! I AM PISSED OFF! AND YOU DO NOT WANT ME PISSED OFF OR ELSE I'MMA MANIFEST AND BLINK YOU ALL TO OBLIVION! I CAN, YOU KNOW!

The soft male voices continued to chuckle amusingly to Athena's chagrin. She ended up grunting in anger and hilariously blew a raspberry at them to their humorous delight. By then, they were cracking up.

Athena: Pfft! Do you think this kid gets scared very easily? You got the wrong sister, buddy! How many of you freaks are there on my line anyway? Jesus, frickin' ridiculous how a kid has to get some serious attention around here. Do you want me to take a quarter of the world off your hands, huh?

Voice: -humoring her- Oh no. Don't do that, child. We heard about what you and your brothers and sisters did during the great floods. 

More laughter ensued to Athena's extreme irritation. Just as she was about to manifest violence on the strange voices, another voice intruded and it was a child's to her confusion.

Child's Voice: Leave her alone.

Other Voice: Oh, alright, child. We'll leave her alone for now. But you know what we must do, right?

Child's Voice: Yes. And then we'll be together forever, right? -soft giggle-

Athena: Are you one of us? I don't know your energy but you seem very...familiar. Are you my brother?

Child's Voice: -giggling shyly- Uh...-whispering- Can I tell her?

Voice: Yes you may, child. Go on.

Child's Voice: You're my twin sister. So...WELCOME HOME, SIS!

Athena: ...

Child's Voice: ...Er, uh. Well. So not the response I was expecting so...

Other Voice: Worry not, child. She'll acclimate soon enough. Just let her absorb the information, okay?

Child's Voice: Um. Okay.

Athena suddenly felt bad for the previously excited child and grinned in her mind's eye hoping the child would see it. Unfortunately, she wasn't sure since she was devoid of a corporeal body at the moment most hilariously.

Athena: I'm sorry...bro? Is that what I call you?

Child's Voice: -excited giggling- Yup! And we're meant to be--

Voice: That's enough, child! You've said what you were meant to say for now.

Child's Voice: Oh, okay. Anyways, you can call me Hunter. What's your name? I wasn't supposed to know it until now so yeah...This is awkward since I can't see you.

Athena: Tee! Hee! My name is Athena, bro-bro. And welcome to the family!

Hunter: More like welcome to MY family! Yup! You're part of the Divine Archangelics now!

Athena: Uh-whuh? Oh no, no, no! I already have a family and they're waiting for me as we speak. We're supposed to meet up in this lifetime.

Hunter: Oh. I see. So, you're not gonna be with me here where it's fun?

Athena: Fun? I like fun!

Hunter: Yeah! And we get to do all kinds of thing up here like rock climbing, sliding down waterfalls, flying in the clouds, the works!

Athena: Wow! I gotta tell my siblings about this. Maybe mommy and Daddy Lucifer will--

Voice: Did you say Lucifer, child?

Athena swore under her breath after realizing she accidentally spoke his name. And she was specifically advised never to utter his name to anyone. And out of all energies, she was told NEVER to advise a Divine Archangelic about him. She suddenly felt a bit relieved she didn't have a corporeal body at the moment.

Athena: ...

Other Voice: Don't worry. We will not be angry. It's just his name hadn't been uttered here in eons. And he went black ages ago. Do you know him as your Daddy you say?

Athena: Um...I'm not supposed to--

Voice: That's fine, child. We'll go slow, alright? My name is Uriel. Pleased to meet you. We'll be your charges from here on in.

Other Voice: And I'm Nero. We're very happy to have you. There are many others who have been honored with the duty of being your charges as we are with Hunter here.

Hunter: Wait a minute...if Athena's Daddy is Lucifer, then he's my...OOH! HE'S MY DADDY TOO! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! I KNEW I WAS NAUGHTY FOR A REASON! IT RUNS IN THE FAMILY! CHEE HOO!

Uriel: -chuckling- Calm yourself, child. We still don't know that quite yet.

Athena: Uh-huh! He IS too our father. If Hunter is my twin, then Lucifer is indeed our father...Oh shit. I did it again.

The laughter from the Divine archangelics was tremendous by then until Athena swore out loud. They couldn't contain themselves by then because Athena was much too cute at the moment. But she wasn't having it.

Athena: JESUS CHRIST SUPER FUCK! ARE YOU ANGELIC ASSHOLES GONNA KEEP LAUGHING AT MY SENTENCES?! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU FREAKS DO UP THERE FOR FUN, HUH? I'M JUST BEING ME, MAN! WHAT A CROCK OF SHIT!

"Oh my God. I can't with her, I just can't," laughed Uriel out loud. He was cracking up so much, he didn't realize he was speaking to Athena instead of communicating telepathically with her.

Such was the hilariously rude introduction of the Divine Child of the Cosmos Athena Tagaloa to the Divine Archangelics.
