The Unknown Father

While at Red Light District, Lucifer, Dhartenius and their respective teammates were experiencing some downtime after infiltrating a Tunui compound and were exhausted. They were discouraged to discover Lily had been moved recently to another undisclosed location according to Michael's people. But his communication with them was abruptly cut-off. Lumiel then returned with some damning news.

"They did what?" asked Lucifer in disbelief.

"Knight Squad went black on us. Word is, they're biding their time in one of those books you keep telling our kids about," replied Lumiel.

"Psh. Of course they would. They lost over thirty teammates in one day. I would be planning a major blowback myself if I were them," gritted Lucifer.

Lumiel casually observed Marie in his mind's eye while she slept in ignorance.

"This has everything to do with us, doesn't it?" he inquired softly.

"This has everything to do with our children. So, yes it does. It's why Marie and I didn't want to emerge until the children were born in the mortal realms. That way those Dark bastards wouldn't be able to get their filthy hands on them," said Lucifer angrily.

Just then, another figure showed up energetically in the form of Adam. But it was Michael who was cloaked since he was no longer allowed there due to some bad history he experienced at Other realm centuries ago.

"So, what say you, brother? My teams are all scattered to the wind and I cannot believe they took such a big hit. And Tyrus? Fuck. I can't believe he's dead too," muttered Michael.

"He was my Divine counterpart so the pain is just as strong with me too, brother," advised Lucifer with a hint of anger in his voice.

"And he was my brother as well. We served many centuries together. We've lost a lot of brethren too. There are too much to name. I'm going to need to calm my senses right now," growled Michael as he walked away to be alone.

"You better be tethered or else you'll end up in a Succubus den full of Tunui whores again," called out Lumiel humorously.

"Psh. I'd like to see them try, because I'm itching to kill some things right now," muttered Michael.

"Huh. You were the chump who was stuck at Site 3? Interesting," smiled Lucifer.

"Yup. My man was ravaged for a whole month. I wouldn't normally call that enhanced interrogation myself since those Tunui bitches were hot as hell," joked Lumiel.

"Hehe...Yeah. As soon as my Papa Azrael intervened, I was able to gain my bearings. It was the best kill streak ever," chuckled Michael.

"I take it fortune smiled on you since you didn't father any offspring from those wenches," smiled Lucifer.

"I had my Divine seed contained. And you'll never guess who had it back then," winked Michael.

"Let me guess...Were they by any chance two clueless young mortal chumps?" laughed Lucifer.

"Yup. Tanu and Adam. And they were only infants back then. It was simply a strategic move placed by Azrael before I realized who they really were to us," smiled Michael.

Just then, Lucifer's expression became contemplative.

"About Marie's firstborn, Nicole. She's yours, right?" he asked quizzically.

"Yes, she is. Through immaculate conception, why?" inquired Michael.

"Oh, shit. I see what you're saying," exclaimed Lumiel. "That makes her a Divine Child of the Cosmos. And she's most likely safe since she was born into the mortal realms."

"And when did you forfeit your Divine seed?" asked Lucifer thoughtfully.

He was onto something.

"Oh, goddammit. The timelines line up. I know what you're saying," replied Michael.

"Those Tunui wenches abducted you for prophecy prevention. But when you forfeited your Divine seed to Tanu and Adam, Marie was still able to conceive the child," advised Lucifer.

"So? You know what that means, brother," chuckled Lumiel. "I think you better have a talk with Tanu and Adam in that case."

"Not only that, Michael. I think Nicole is energetically protecting her siblings. Aw, shit," chuckled Lucifer in obvious relief. "I think you inadvertently saved all our children. But you know who else needs to take that credit, right?"

"Besides Azrael?" inquired Michael with a hint of aggravation. He didn't like where the conversation was going.

"Hehe. Adam and Tanu were only what...one or two years old at the time? Man, that's too funny," chuckled Lumiel.

"Nicole is mine, alright? I know where you two are trying to lean this situation but the fact remains. The conception was with my seed. So, let's just change the fucking subject," muttered Michael.

"I don't know," smiled Lucifer humorously. "I think only one brother was able to assist with the conception because Dicey is Nicole's twin brother and the true firstborn, isn't he?"

"Oh, damn. This is getting better by the minute!" laughed Lumiel as he clapped a disgruntled looking Michael on the back. "Dicey and Nicole are twins? And Tanu or Adam is her actual father?"

"Not only that, but Dicey was supposed to be conceived at the same time which means...Oh, my God. I'm sorry, Michael but this is too funny! That means either Tanu or Adam were probably still sleeping when they weren't able to complete Dicey's immaculate conception! JUST STOP ME IF I'M WRONG, BROTHER!" cracked up Lucifer.

"Hehe...I think you just got Divinely cock blocked by those same clueless mortal chumps, bruh," chuckled Lumiel.

Just then, Michael grabbed Lucifer and Lumiel by their shirt collars.

"Just quit while you're ahead, okay, you assholes? Not a goddamn word to Tanu and Adam. In fact, I'm bonding you two to silence," gritted Michael.

Another sick realization came to mind as he groaned in aggravation. "I think Nicole's father might be Adam. Shit."

The laughter was endless from Lucifer and Lumiel by then.
