Alright, this one I wrote meself, and takes place moreorless during the Water Book for SashaL and mine's Accidental Avatar thingy. Have some Zuko and Amaya~

Not many knew him, he was practically a stranger to me. And he just could never get enough, get enough of the one thing he didn’t have. His honour. Or so he thought.
He’d quit everything for a fortune, in the form of his title, his honour. How it ends and begins is all mixed up in his head, I can tell. Its written on his face, even if he doesn’t know it. From yesterday, it’s coming. From yesterday, his fear and uncertainty called to him, but he didn’t want to read the message here.

He was a good kid, and honour was not something someone else could give you. But does he listen? Nope. He never does. Its like he’s sitting on a mountain of gold in his head, but in my opinion he had built up a throne of lies and crap. I wondered if he was aware that his father was looking through the blood of the lives he took, and not caring. Zuko took counsel from number one, and only number one. He would decide when he was done with the innocent. Just like his father. Zuko isn’t Ozai. I see that. Iroh sees it. Why can’t he?
He doesn’t want to read the message. He won’t see the signs. His honour is all that matters.

Maybe I don’t need that. Maybe I should just ditch and join the Avatar in the North Pole. But I can see the message. I can see he’s afraid. And I can’t just abandon him. Dangit. Somehow this ass has become important. Somehow he became my friend.
