Untold // Calum

chapter seven

-Calum's POV-
we got home from the hospital at sunrise. I had realized that we had school. 3 days left. I laid Lila on the couch and I went up to get ready.
"just lie here and wait okay babe?" I said going upstairs. I started to take my shirt off and threw on a Green Day tank top. I started to pull off my sweatpants when Lila came in.
"I'm going to school. I don't care, I just want to get through senior year." she said walking to the dresser.
"but Lila.." I started.
"no Calum. I'm going okay?" she said back. I didn't argue, if she wanted to go then no one was stopping her. I pulled off my pants and slipped on tight jeans. She was already dressed before I could even finish. I walked over and kissed her.
"you know you really scared me last night.." I said gently.
"yeah, I'm really sorry I ruined it. I guess everything just came at me all at once.." she said. I kissed her again and we both went downstairs and slipped out black shoes on. we grabbed our matching backpacks and almost in complete unison, we said bye and walked out the door holding hands.

-Lila's POV-
as we were walking, I got a text from my friend Deanna. she was in most of my classes and I talked to her at lunch with Cal.

D: YO I GOT NEWS!!
Me: rlly?
D: yeah! meet me at school okay?
Me: ok.

Calum and I got to school pretty fast. we had a ton of time before class. we both met up with her. she ran over and hugged me with a huge smile on her face.
"dude!!! I have a boyfriend now!!!" she said jumping up and down.
"ahh! really?! who! tell me everything!" I yelled. Calum was giggling at me.
"his name is Michael, he dyes his hair a lot, he's in some of our classes maybe you know him." she said.
"hey I know him!" Calum spoke up.
"we are like you guys, we've talked a few times and all."
"hmm. wait why were you walking with Calum.." she said with a smirk.
"we're dating now." he said walking over and kissing me.
"awhhh!" she said. Michael came up and hugged her from behind. I recognized him from out 5th hour.
"heyy deanna." he said kissing her cheek. they were both blushing and I guess he didn't see us here.
"hey Calum, is this your girlfriend?" he said with a chuckle. was he laughing at me?
"nice to meet you, I'm Michael. and your name is?" he said.
"Lila." I said very quietly. I was really anxious around him. he looked kinda scary not gonna lie.
"and yes, she's my girlfriend." Calum said hugging me.

-Calum's POV-
I can tell Lila was kind of scared. she seemed intimidated by Michael. I was going to keep her safe, I knew he wouldn't hit her or anything, he wasn't like that. the bell rang and we all went to class without and another word. we didn't have much work. we just talked in almost all of our classes. at the end of the day and I walked with Lila as usual, but instead I went to the office with her.
"w- what are you doing Cal?" she asked.
"fixing this." was all I said.
we walked in and I filed 2 incident reports. I wanted to have these people punished because of what they did. Lila had a blank look to her as she filled them out. she didn't ask me much either. guess she was scared.. we both turned them in and we walked out hand in hand. when we were almost at home, I stopped her and hugged her.
"I'm sorry that was kind of fast, I just hated the bullying going on." I said.
she pulled away and kissed me.
"thank you Cal. your my superhero." she said kissing me again.
